Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

I was having a really bad day! Wayne I.D:5838 was really great, he arrived quickly, he calmed me down, helped me to get home in one piece and even had an idea of what the problem might be. My car is now being serviced and he was right!

Mike (1184) had an excellent customer attitude toward my problem. He advised me on eta and updated this before arriving on time. He has a very friendly attitude explaining exactly what he was doing and advising me of way forward. He replaced my defective battery and completed the paperwork efficiently. RAC is absolutely not bike-friendly, and their service for motorcyclists is shocking. Initially, a patrol unit was allocated to attend and assess whether the bike could be repaired on the spot, but they never even showed up. Instead, the patrolman simply called to say he wouldn’t be able to help and canceled the job without seeing the bike in person. RAC then outsourced the recovery to a third-party contractor using a flatbed truck - far from ideal for motorcycle recovery. There was no estimated time of arrival, no updates, and zero communication throughout the whole ordeal. For a company that advertises reliable roadside assistance, this was a complete failure and shows total disregard for bikers. I would strongly advise motorcyclists to look elsewhere.

Paid extra for RAC breakdown through my insurance. Suspension came apart while on a motorway, got onto a slip road and stood in behind the barrier. Tried to call RAC. No humans to talk to, only an online form to fill and GPS location (which put me in a car park on the opposite road). Est time of recovery: 4.5 hours! No facilities, dangerous road. I eventually got through to a human after trying all options on phone. Could not help, use the tracker, yes 4.5 hours. Called a local garage, picked up within 30 mins, £100. This company doesn't provide breakdown assistance and has no duty of care for customers. Avoid.
