Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

Didn’t fix my car. Sold me a part that didn’t fit my car and after asking them for my money back was told no. Absolutely disgusting attitude from the call centre. £90 wasted and now definitely cancelling my breakdown cover and going to the AA

2nd time ive had to call the rac out due to battery issues.first time i waited 2 hours and they didnt turn up so got fed up waiting and asked a few guys to give us a push,as its a van and bump started it.and yesterday same issues only battery so dead it wouldnt bump start. After 3 hours they finally turned up.its a company policy so i had no choice.(i have never waited any longer than 30 minutes with the aa)

I’ve had the worst experience with rac I broke down on the M25 with a colleague with bad epilepsy. They said they’ll pick me up in 40 minutes rang them back another 40 minutes rang them back an hour and 10 minutes. and then when they came, they couldn’t even help and four RAC vans drove past me on the M25 to me. It felt like a shift change where nobody would pick me up because it was at 4 pm. Also RAC driver said that he rang my phone, but he lied absolutely disgusted by RAC and I will be leaving to go AA. Ps I was waiting for 4 1/2 hours last time when I broke down we rang at 6:00 pm. They arrived at 12 midnight disgusting disgusting.

Recently had my first call out using the RAC. We did wait 2 hours for their arrival but we were in the middle of the yorkshire moors, so it is understandable. The patrol was friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything wrong and sent a full report. He offered to get a taxi home and my car would follow about a week or how to try and safely drive it home after he cleared the faults as I wanted to take it to the garage myself. Made it home following his guidance! Thanks Kurtis!! Id 4825

Excellent response time, and Brian - ID 1705 - was able to get me back on the road long enough to enable myself to book in for the replacement / repair of the tyre Motability customer. I rang Kwik Fit first and they weren't really interested in my predicament
