The meetings are informal and are geared towards securing the best outcome for me rather than anyone else so is truly independent of other interests which is great.
I would highly recommend them as a company and for the support their staff provide.

The web site and telephone answering system for PSA are hopeless. They both have limited options and have no ability to ask a question that is not covered by their very limited standard Q&As. This is extremely frustrating.
Car was inspected by a 3rd party company sent from PSA finance, employee admitted to lack of experience and therefore quoted my car at least £1000 out. PSA finance advise that I just pay the £2800 added and they will refund in 8-10 weeks. Staff are rude and do not seem interested in dealing with complaints, also implied they I cannot afford to pay what is being asked hence why I am complaining. I have never been so appalled by a service as I am today, please avoid at all costs!

En la letra del préstamo te viene incorporado seguros que no has contratado y solo te das cuenta cuando revisas tu contrato de forma muy minuciosa y te manda unos papeles del contrato que firmaste pero no todos porque cuando quince amortizar me enviaron un documento firmado en el que supuestamente no podía amortizar hasta después de los 36 meses
Porfavor antes de firmar pedir ver esa condición a mi me dijeron que a los 18 meses ya podía cancelar el préstamo sin penalización
La penalización consiste en que el supuesto descuento que te hace el concecionario por financiarlo dependiendo cuando lo canceles devuelves una parte.

Quando li ho chiesto di cosa si tratta, ricevo la risposta: per motivi di privacy non me lo possono dire. Quando chiedo, che almeno mi dicano con chi sto parlando e da quale azienda stanno chiamando, la stessa risposta: per motivi di privacy non me lo possono dire. Quando averto la Sig.a che lei sa con chi sta parando mentre lei non si è degnato di presentarsi, ripete ancora che per motivi di privacy, non le è consentito a dirmelo.
Ma per favore: per motivi di privacy lasciate in pace la gente.

I was recently in a car accident where my car was written off. I was called up by direct line (who work with PSA insurance) ,off a personal mobile number I am sure these calls are legally required to be recorded? Anyway I spoke to Ian on the phone who told me that I am not entitled to the market value of my car which I had on PCP. He incorrectly told me that my car is a lease, even though my statements say Hire Purchase agreement, he told me that I would only get the finance paid off which was a lot less than the value of the car. Despite me saying that i have been told I have equity in the car he was adamant that I did not. When I disputed this with him, he accused me of trying to commit insurance fraud and quite bluntly said they will not pay me to crash my car. He did not care at all about the anxiety and physical injuries I received from the accident. As someone who suffers from extreme OCD and anxiety the next few days were a huge struggle for me. The calls in between he confirmed the same and accused me a second time of insurance fraud… I was so shaken up after the accident and this on top made me so much worse. Eventually, he told me that I will get the market value for my car “whether or not he feels it is legally or morally right”. But told me I have no need to call my gap insurance as I have no need. After calling my gap cover they told me that I should definitely use them and that I do have a claim. Again I feel this was Ian trying to get me to settle on whatever he feels is right, (off record)!!
When I chased my claim with PSA insurance, they told me that Ian the claim engineer I believe they called him, failed to send them my report which he should have done right after he last called me. Again trying to cause me more distress because he did not understand the product he was employed to insure. This whole incident has left me anxious and let down by the people who should have been looking out for me.
I can understand why Peugeot and Direct Line have such bad reviews… and I definitely understand why Uk Insurance Ltd do not have a trust pilot, or at least one I can find!
If you believe PSA have charged you incorrectly at the end of a lease take it to the Financial Ombudsman. We got charged incorrectly, PSA were not interested at all in making it right . After frustrating phone calls and going nowhere we got in touch with the Ombudsman. You need to put your side of the story over and send over any correspondence that helps your case. They agreed with us and PSA had to pay us back. Got no ‘sorry’ from PSA, just the money appearing in our bank. I urge everyone to do the same if they are in the same boat, companies like this need to be held to account and not get away with this !
I paid the settlement figure of £16k by cheque and PSA direct debited the same amount so I have paid twice. PSA Customer Services impossible to get hold of and repeated emails ignored. Finally got to speak to someone by using the Peugeot dealer number and the guy I spoke to would not arrange repayment and told me I had to sort it out through my bank. Unbelievably incompetent and uncaring company.
I have leased several cars over the years with no issues but PSA finance are quite nasty to deal with. No nice welcoming letter, all correspondence is very threatening and legalistic - full of warnings of penalties at every stage. They collected my 3 year old Peugeot 3008 at the end of the lease which was in mint condition. Two guys crawled all over it for 30 mins but could find nothing wrong. The car was taken away and 2 months later I am invoiced for £200, no explanation just a demand for £200. I have phoned them 3 times each call taking 20 minutes to connect. Customer Services are then unable to put me through to the Returns Department. The direct number I am given to phone just diverts back to customer services anyway. Customer Services emailed Returns and copied me in, but Returns just ignore the email. The 3008 was 6,000 below the contract mileage and they want to extort £200 from me with no explanation when my car is worth way more than the end of lease price. I will never lease through PSA again.
6 weeks later after several phone calls and an email PSA called me to say their mistake, they thought the Service History was incomplete but it was not. Good job I challenged them to justify the £200 payment. I will never use them again.
