He was there when we had questions and answered them all and helped us on our behalf. He put us at ease and guided us through the paperwork. PLS provided a terrible service when managing the sale of my house and my onwards purchase. My conveyancer had to be hand held and chased constantly, key documents were misplaced or incorrect (resulting in a last-minute rush on exchange day), completion took hours because everyone was “at lunch” in the afternoon. I discovered weeks after completion that an indemnity policy required from our vendors wasn’t in place, they completed without it and never admitted to it. I raised a complaint which made no difference as they’ll never admit they’ve done something wrong. Save your money and sanity and go elsewhere.

PLS were on hand from the beginning of our home buying journey to answer any questions and kept us in the loop along the way. The portal was very easy to use and update and created a stress free experience when buying our first home and thank Nick Anderson and team for their assistance through this. We only had a house to sell, offer was accepted on 17th October and the buyers wanted to be in for Christmas. The agents thought it would be touch and go but we made it, exchanging on 13th December and completed on 16th. The portal is easy to use and makes providing information easy. I was assigned a contact, Dan. He kept me informed all through the process. All of the buyers requests were forwarded to me by email quickly and I was able to get the answers back quickly too. All the questions I had were answered within 24 hrs. An excellent service which I would be more than happy to use again.

Avoid PLS at All Costs! We were strongly encouraged by the developers to use PLS when purchasing our new home, as they claimed to "work closely" with PLS and would have all the necessary information. What they failed to disclose is that PLS lacks basic due diligence and will charge you for services they don’t actually perform. For example, PLS invoiced us in November 2022 for submitting a request to update the land registry with our names. Imagine our shock when we discovered that this wasn’t actually completed until September 2024! Notably, this occurred just as we began applying for a new mortgage. Thanks to the well-known delays at the Land Registry, this delay has forced us into a 10% variable interest rate with our current mortgage provider, as we are unable to switch to a new rate until the land registry update is processed. I’ve spent months emailing PLS, including reaching out to their CEO, but all I receive are generic responses and vague promises that they’re "chasing details." They refuse to accept any responsibility for the delay and won’t refund the money we paid them two years ago, let alone compensate us for the additional costs they’ve caused. Please avoid using PLS—this has been a costly and frustrating experience. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

They handled our case really well to say it was quite last minute. They did need a couple of things that our mortgage advisor said were unusual, such as requiring us to have our legal marriage certificate notorised by a solicitor. This was an extra thing we didn't expect.
