Avoid PLS at All Costs!

Avoid PLS at All Costs! We were strongly encouraged by the developers to use PLS when purchasing our new home, as they claimed to "work closely" with PLS and would have all the necessary information. What they failed to disclose is that PLS lacks basic due diligence and will charge you for services they don’t actually perform. For example, PLS invoiced us in November 2022 for submitting a request to update the land registry with our names. Imagine our shock when we discovered that this wasn’t actually completed until September 2024! Notably, this occurred just as we began applying for a new mortgage. Thanks to the well-known delays at the Land Registry, this delay has forced us into a 10% variable interest rate with our current mortgage provider, as we are unable to switch to a new rate until the land registry update is processed. I’ve spent months emailing PLS, including reaching out to their CEO, but all I receive are generic responses and vague promises that they’re "chasing details." They refuse to accept any responsibility for the delay and won’t refund the money we paid them two years ago, let alone compensate us for the additional costs they’ve caused. Please avoid using PLS—this has been a costly and frustrating experience. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
