Absolutely horrendous. The seats are cramped and no leg space. The food wasn’t that good either. I got food poisoning and started to feel nauseous. They also gave us ear phones but it looked like it was used by a lot of people since it looked warned out and some of them were broken. Also when the plane was landing and taking off it didn’t land smoothly and felt like it was shaking. I am warning you to not go on this plane. They are frauds and they will rob you off your money. Choose another airline. I can’t believe they are getting away with this. I am actually very sad because it use to be a good airline I don’t know what happened now. 😔 P.I.A. If you are reading this please sort this out. I miss the time when you use to be a good airline. I hope you can improve.
Avoid. Just avoid. There are plenty of alternatives should you wish to go to Pakistan (unless you're heritage, why bother). The menu hasn't changed since 1985 and the in-flight entertainment is non existent. They make money as they have a monopoly on the direct routes plus they allow 40kg baggage but they charge the same as a round trip to the moon and back (which gets pocketed by the corrupt officials). Dirty, ancient aeroplanes (Many which have been grounded by Europe as not air worthy). They've recently sacked 30% of their pilots as they weren't pilots at all. Counterfeit degrees, like the rest of that god forsaken country. You have been warned. And I'm a patriot!
Absolutley poor customer service, no answer of phone calls or emails! I am seeking a refund for my part used ticked i was due to fly back from pakistan on 29th March and as PIA flight were cancelled Due to covid-19 i was told by my agency to contact PIA Directly in order to arrange a returned the flight date got changed however that flight got cancelled to and in order to return i had to pay Again seperatly a charted flight to return back to the UK. and now i am contacting PIA seeking a refund on the part ticket used as my return was on a charted flight and not the one arranged by PIA. my agency who are unable to give me a refund due to PIA having changed the tickets. my Travel agent ( Home and Away ) cannot apply for refund on BSP link, secondly the ticket control is not with the agency. PIA has to process the refund or at least open the PNR access on the system so that my travel agent can view it. Regardless of contacting them on several occasions via phone/email i have had no reply. i will need to seek legal advise to take this further as i have tried continuously to contact PIA over the phone and i have had no response at all no one even answers the calls. This has been unfair as I have had to pay extra to return to the UK having stayed out in Pakistan longer than needed with no help or assistance from PIA. My agency even tried sorting this however due to this booking being locked by PIA they are unable to give me the refund. Their customer service is terrible!
The worst airline ever!! I really hope someone reads this and responds. My parents were booked for their return flight to Canada on April 4th but due to Covid19, PIA repeatedly cancelled all flights about 3 times without much notice. After all this back and forth at their offices, my dad managed to book their "special" flight which cost him $2600 CAD, no partial refund for the previous flight was given. On top of that, in the flight he was assigned next to a couple(so much for maintaining a distance) that couple informed my dad that they were switched to the special flight for free. At the lounge, he spoke to several other families who were switched over for free or cheaper. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! HAVE SOME COURTESY GUYS, INSTEAD OF HELPING PEOPLE OUT YOU ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THESE STRANDED PEOPLE. I DEMAND A FULL REFUND!
PIA has made a bad decision not providing hotel accommodation to its passengers flying to Britain on 7/3/2020 due to corona virus spreading among passengers stranded in around the airport and lounge areas. Due to flights cancelled passengers young and old are having to wait in crowds while burgers were provided as a substitute to elderly and diabetic conditions. This gives a very unreliable and poor view to the international community while watching PIA officials taking liberties out of there own people for financial gain.
I don't think people are running this airline but zoo animals, monkeys mostly. They have treated expats poorly for too long by ripping them off at airports, high prices for tickets and poor service. The sooner people stop visiting that fraud country the better. Better off visiting nations like Dubai, morroco, Turkey, Egypt etc.
i had planned to travel on 22nd march 2020 but due to the coronavirus. my flight was cancelled I have not been given back my refund which cost more than 2000 pound I reqest everyone not to use this airline because it is the worst airline ever.

Pia have now sent an email stating its £18 so it was £250 ???? a kilo when downstairs at Heathrow terninal 3 it was confirmed £7 a kilo and I had paid £21 for 2 kilos extra, they bow state I was charged correctly almost as if they are not listening & understanding. Why did my partner get charged £250 upstairs terminal 3 airside for hand luggage and got conned and ripped off ? This matter still stands and then was threatened that she cannot be able to catch her flight ? She is a unwell patient and returned 4 days later only to be confronted by the same person once again. Going out it was pia pk786 21/01/2020 & return 25/01/2020 what is going on ? Still no sign or communication from PIA
Flights: Premium Economy Birmingham to Islamabad 15 December 2019 Travelled Premium Economy - meaning you travel in the old Business Class seats but get none of the other extras that you would expect on other airlines. Check in at Birmingham was a nightmare in that the luggage allowance is 50Kg and the "safe" weight is 23Kg (as stated on the tickets) so this necessitates three pieces of luggage? When checking suddenly informed, ONLY 2 pieces of luggage allowable! Check in lady advises we cling wrap two suitcases together. Much tooing and froing getting the weights ok then spending £17 on clingwrap. Only to be told that the luggage was now deemed "overweight" so WE had to take to outsize counter! Dragged them there. By now, no time to visit free lounge was at far end of terminal. ON board - seats comfortable and extendable to near flat. Service was good, with attentive and polite staff. Food - acceptable, and large portions but preferred my Pret baguette I had purchased in the terminal. NO ENTERTAINMENT - nothing! If you could put the screen on, all the channels are blank! Make sure you bring your own screens with you and plenty of power banks as there no plug points. Cabin - hot & clammy - no way of getting any cool air as there are no vents.Lucky by product of being so hot, managed to actually sleep. On disembarking - no special treatment. Conclusion: Service has improved but every thing else is lacking, food, entertainment and state of planes.

Never use PIA they are corrupt money making Airline. My father passed away on 20-12-19 15 of us flew to Pakistan paying £1,070 each. Within 7 days i had to be back with my son, as he has blood transfusions. i was at the airport 4 hours before as they recommend and due to there poor customer service flights were delayed and ques to the check out points were in the car park. when we finally got to the check in point they had our luggage on the bags and then decided to say sorry you missed check in time and there was still an hour left to board the plane, due to there poor customer service they didn't care at all it was there fault. In fact they knew i was desperate to get back to Birmingham because of my sons health they said if you want to catch the next flight to Manchester pay us £400 which i did as my sons health was getting worse. please never use PIA as they are corrupt in money making easy wages for them
Thanks PIA, I have Traveled on Pk786 Dated 15th Dec 2019 London-Islamabad with Human remain. Due poor visibility at Islamabad flight diverted and Landed at Lahore airport. The dead body was belongs to Lahore and i was going to take it to Lahore via ambulance. After flight landed at Lahore Airport I contact PIA staff, explain the the situation and requested to let me Exit at Lahore instead of Islamabad. One of the crew member Mr Asad contacted a Senior Officer of PIA Shuaib Khan at Lahore airport who help me very much and make extra efforts for Off loading me with Human Remain, in a very short period of time he done the arrangement to fulfill immigration requirements as well as to deal with cargo to help me to off load at Lahore. He also guide me to the Cargo Terminal and explain the whole process which i was no aware off. He also helped to off another family of death case who belongs to Jehlum and requests for Off loading in Lahore. Here I also mention a cargo staff who also help me in all process of clearing human remain from cargo. I along with the relatives of Human remain are very thankful to these competent officers who are very caring and helping, I also Thankful to PIA Management who Improve the services. What PIA have done for me on that day, I will never be able to pay back. Thank you PIA. Thank you M Shuaib Khan, Mr Asad and cargo service.
Great people to fly with Recent improvements by new CEO are really reflecting in the service. Always hearing good feedback from travellers.
I would never recommend anyone to use PIA as there customer service is poor when the situation involves a refund a lot of Pakistani agencies like PIA take away people consumer and basic financial rights by not providing a refund when they are entitled to it I spent 3 weeks trying to get a refund (full) but travel up agency and PIA decides to only provide half of the money I paid £851.69 for this flight and due to critical circumstances I had to cancel however they did not help they did not understand my situation and I rate their overall service inadequate and time wasting and fraud
What a disgusting and nightmare of a flight me and my family endured.. Travelled on pia many times before but NEVER had such a horrible flight, no in flight system children crying and screaming.. Toilets not working, water not in taps.. Disgusting smell throughout the plane no one able to sleep as so uncomfortable.. So angry and disappointed.. How long does it take to hoover a plane and spray airfreshner..

Been using PIA for the last 30 years, have had some terrible experiences in the past, but have noticed improvement recently. Good= Direct flights, spacious seats, good food, pleasant staff, 40kg luggage allowance. Things to improve: Online check in, Onboard Entertainment, update aircrafts. Contact centres. Have noticed a lot of empty seats, in order to remain profitable might need to discount seats to achieve higher bookings rates.
