I initially had a frustrating experience with PCS Legal. Communication was very slow, and I had to chase them weekly for updates. Despite promises of call-backs, none ever came, and their online portal was never updated, which added to the stress. I eventually raised a complaint with their client services team, but the response was disappointing—they claimed I had been contact within 72 hours, which was only true because I kept calling them myself. However, things took a turn for the better thanks to Maria Enright and Mia Raj. They were absolutely brilliant and helped push my sale through, even while dealing with a difficult solicitor on the buyer’s side. They were responsive, proactive, and kept me informed every week via email. Their professionalism and dedication made a huge difference. Because of their efforts, I’ve increased my rating from a 1 to a solid 4 stars. If PCS Legal can improve their overall communication and consistency, they have the potential to be truly excellent. I would highly recommend Maria and Mia for anyone going through a property transaction.

First of all I would like to thank Donna for always being so helpful and thorough. She fought our corner and fast tracked everything so we can finish the process in time. It has been a lengthy conveyancing process but in the end it was all worth it. Solicitors have been professional and always easy to reach by phone. My only recommendation would be to have less people dealing with one case so e-mails don’t get missed ( 2 max 3 people). Would highly recommend.

I’m writing to follow up on my earlier review and share that the situation with PCS Legal continues to be unresolved, with no communication or progress despite weeks of delay. PCS Legal was engaged by my solicitors to handle the mortgage element of my staircasing purchase. My solicitors provided all necessary documents on 18 June, and the revised mortgage offer has been available since 9 June. Yet, as of today, PCS Legal has failed to respond or take any action to release the mortgage funds. Their silence is preventing completion of my property purchase and has caused me substantial stress and avoidable financial loss, including rent payments and tracker mortgage interest — costs I should no longer be incurring. PCS Legal continues to ignore all outreach from New Homes Law despite numerous follow-ups via email and telephone, including attempts to escalate the matter to their senior partner, Stuart Forsdike, and assistant Maria Enright. I have also reached out to their client care team, who stated they cannot assist me because I am not their client — even though their inaction is directly harming me. Due to the severity of the delay and the lack of accountability, I have now submitted a formal complaint to the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC). It is unacceptable for any professional firm involved in such a critical step of a property transaction to operate with such disregard for the impact on the people involved. I sincerely hope PCS Legal takes responsibility and resolves this urgently.

Very positive experience, quick and seamless dealing with Adam and team.

Communication incredibly bad, every document had to be chased 6 or 7 times by other solicitors and myself. Rarely would the phone be answered. They attempted to exchange & complete one day, completely randomly when none of the other parties were ready. On the day of completion they said they had sent funds and over 4 hours later still nothing - they refused to show evidence of the time funds were actually sent. There isn't time to go into every issue but there were many!

I have purchased property in the past and always used a local solicitor. However, due to increasing costs, I searched for the cheapest quote I could get and PCS came up as just that. It was my first experience of dealing with a property purchase remotely but Bethany, my Conveyancing Associate, made it a breeze. She was very approachable with the multitude of questions I had and easy to get hold. I also felt that she did a lot more than my local solicitor regarding going through the searches, raising questions, etc. I would highly recommend and use again!

Phenomenal service from Paige & Maddy. Every query answered within 24 hours and completed within 49 days! Could have been sooner, but I held up the process a little when I was on holiday. Honestly could not recommend the team enough, huge thank you!

Amy & Matthew were brilliant during our house buying process. We were told that this process could be extremely long and difficult, however we had incredibly fast responses and support from our solicitors, which meant we didn't face any of this difficulties.

DO NOT USE THEM We were mislead at every stage. We had a different person take on our case when our current solicitor was on leave. Considering we were told we ready to exchange, the new person proceeded to tell us majority of our documents were still outstanding. Not long after this our solicitor ‘disappeared’. They Lied at every point and held us to ransom of not completing our sale when we proceeded to complain. Nail on the coffin is now receiving all our documents and land registry info 1.5 years later. Please do not use them.
