It was simple and convenient to schedule the pickup by DHL Express door to door. It was also about a third of what DHL asked of me on their own site.
Contraté un seguro dentro del envío y el paquete llegó multigolpeado. No se hicieron responsables en absoluto. Durante semanas lo estuve batallando y la empresa que contrataron GLS no se hizo responsable. Me costaba mucho comunicarme con ellos y los mensajes eran en inglés. Al final, para no responsabilizarse de nada. Un auténtico desastre. No contrateis seguro, es una tomadura de pelo!!!!

He leído malas experiencias de ParcelABC pero creo que algunos no entienden que ParcelABC solo conecta al usuario final con una empresa de encomiendas. Utilicé el servicio varias veces y las demoras se deben a la empresa seleccionada. Por ejemplo, utilicé el servicio desde Brasil hacia Argentina por FedEx y realmente tardó más de lo normal, pero ni ParcelABC ni FedEx tuvieron la culpa, había huelga de inspectores aduaneros en Brasil. ParcelABC me conecta con empresas courier a buenos precios de los que puedo conseguir en forma particular.
To all considering using ParcelABC, they lie on their quotes about fast delivery, they don't help with couriers paperwork, they insist on taking import taxes in advance (even when import taxes do not apply). Then refuse to contact courier to claim compensation for delays/slow delivery. Then ParcelABC wont refund wrongly applied import taxes, just pocketing the money they they never had to pay out. ParcelABC are Thieves. Detail for those interested - I rarely need parcels from abroad. In an online quote, ParcelABC showed favourable. 3-6 days airfreight (for collection in South Africa and delivery to UK). Parcel ABC requested dimensions, weight and more importantly the value of my parcel. ParcelABC insisted I pay UK import tax in advance or they would not take my order, charging me an extra £40 GBP. ParcelABC promised this would be refunded if UK tax was not applied. Filling in the paperwork was tricky/illogical, with no help from ParcelABC. ParcelABC insisted my parcel sender, print/supply 6 of them same dispatch form for the courier. Parcel was collected on arranged date, courier only needed one copy (not 6). Parcel then sat in a South African UPS building for 3 days. I contacted ParcelABC, they did nothing about it, saying it can take longer than the 3-6 days, this is just a guide, and UPS to blame anyway. Even after 7 days of my Parcel being sat in the South African UPS building, ParcelABC did nothing, not even contact UPS. So, I contacted UPS, and then eventually, my parcel arrived after 2 weeks. Things now went from bad to worse. ParcelABC refused to compensate for delays or their lack of effort/responses. For a month they strung me along, saying they will contact UPS for compensation and check if UK tax was applied, before they would consider refunding the UK tax charges. Eventually I contacted UPS, they said no UK tax as parcel value well below the UK tax import value. Also only ParcelABC could claim for compensation for delays on my behalf as they are the booking company. Giving this info to ParcelABC made no difference. Chasing them every 2 weeks for another 2 months. Constant assurances, failed each time and tax refund would be done by Friday each week for those 2 months. My advice dont use UPS either, their customer service was just as bad as ParcelABC. Both had the attitude, it was the other parties problem. 24.2.25 Update, (day after writing the above review). ParcelABC message saying my review is not genuine and I have 3 days to prove it is. The person at ParcelABC that has been the most incompetent and wasted 3 months of my time and took my money is called Monika. Agata also gave me the wrong info. Is this proof enough for you. Monika also messaged me today to say she didn't understand my last email, where I said "No £40 refunded to me". So still wasting my time and playing dumb.
Well, my overall experience was too good in regards to delivery, customer care, and time to reach my baggage to another city. Everything is smooth.
Avoid ParcelABC – Dishonest Pricing and Terrible Support I had a terrible experience with ParcelABC and strongly advise against using their services. I booked a shipment, paid the full quoted price (€53.13), and received confirmation. An hour later, they suddenly demanded an extra €32, claiming a "remote area delivery fee" that was never disclosed upfront, and the delivery address is not even in a remote area. This was not a mistake—it’s a clear bait-and-switch tactic: they lure you in with a lower price, take your money, then refuse to ship unless you pay more. When I challenged this, their customer support was useless, offering only copy-paste responses while ignoring all my questions. They even tried to justify this by saying their system simply didn’t detect the extra charge earlier—which is their problem, not mine. No legitimate company operates this way. Thankfully, PayPal ruled in my favor and refunded me, but I’ve also reported them to consumer protection authorities. Companies like this should not be allowed to operate. If you value honest pricing and real customer service, stay far away from ParcelABC. EDIT REPLY FOR ParcelABC: Your response is not only misleading but also an outright attempt to rewrite what actually happened. Let’s break it down: You did not "fairly" refund me – PayPal ruled against you. You claim that you voluntarily refunded me, but that is completely false. I filed a chargeback through PayPal’s Resolution Center, which resulted in PayPal ruling in my favor. This means PayPal determined that your business engaged in unfair and deceptive practices—not that you "decided" to be fair. This dispute leaves a record (a stain, if you will) on your PayPal merchant account, which increases your risk rating as a business. Your Terms and Conditions do NOT override consumer protection laws. You say that extra charges are mentioned in your T&Cs, but that is legally irrelevant when they are not disclosed before payment. Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Romanian Consumer Protection Law 296/2004, all charges must be clearly stated before purchase, not sneakily added after payment. It is not the customer’s responsibility to cover undisclosed costs—it is the company’s duty to be transparent and accountable. Your pricing model is deceptive and anti-consumer. You admit that your system failed to detect the extra charge beforehand. That is your problem, not the customer’s. This prevents customers from making informed decisions and comparing competitors, which is exactly why consumer protection laws exist. If the correct price had been displayed upfront, I could have chosen a competitor with a much better offer. Instead, you took my money under false pretenses and then held the shipment hostage unless I paid more. Trying to downplay this as a "rare situation" does not excuse deceptive practices. The frequency of this scam does not make it acceptable. If a company fails to provide transparent pricing, then it should absorb any miscalculated costs—not dump them onto the customer after the fact. Your business model relies on baiting customers with lower prices and then demanding more money after payment, which is the textbook definition of a bait-and-switch scam. Final Thought No reputable business operates like this. You lost the dispute because your practices violated consumer protection laws, and your attempt to spin this as a voluntary refund is both dishonest and laughable. Instead of making excuses, perhaps focus on running an ethical business that doesn't rely on deception.

1. Kein Formular "Reisegepäck" im Portal zu Verfügung gestellt. Daher Deklaration als "Ware" vorgenommen. 2. Leider gegen die von mir abgegebene Deklarartion mit Wert 0,- die Deklaration eigenmächtig auf USD 154,- geändert. Folge: Enorme Verzögerung und dazu noch Zollgebühren bezahlt obwohl der Gegenstand alt und gebraucht, sowie sich in meinem Eigentum befindet.
Buen servicio, pero con un pequeño inconveniente Utilicé Parcel ABC para enviar mi equipaje y, en general, el servicio fue bueno. La entrega se realizó dentro del tiempo estimado, sin retrasos y con seguimiento disponible en todo momento. Sin embargo, al recibir mis maletas, noté que una de ellas tenía una llanta rota, lo cual fue un inconveniente. A pesar de esto, el resto del envío llegó en buen estado. En general, una experiencia positiva, aunque sería ideal que tuvieran más cuidado con el manejo del equipaje.

Getting Charged Extra after is never a good look for any Company, getting harrassed by the Lawyer for already paid Extra Shipping Costs is an absolute no go! I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE ANYMORE!
