Wait time
Today I waited well over an hour for an answer from a Panasonic rep on my phone about a product! That is a record for me! They stink! I will NEVER buy another thing from Panasonic! Louis Parisi

I'll just relate an effort to buy a am/fm battery/plug-in radio. Nothing fancy here...basic portable radio...sku rf2400. Radio arrived, new batteries installed to exact specs, and battery power didn't work. Plug in fine. Returned the radio and second one arrived. Wife and adult son re-checked my, by the directions, battery install...no battery power to radio. Plug in fine. Panasonic response essentially, Oh well, take it to a Panasonic dealer! Never intended this a "life quest"..just wanted a portable radio.
This company is terrible. They offer BD-RE DL optical media which is blue ray rewritable disks with a capacity of 50Gb and charge a rediculous amount for them! What are we in the dark ages? Rewriteable optical media is critical for computer data backups. The ability to wipe disks or rewrite them for this purpose is critical for backing up personal private data. The market for rewritable high capacity optical media is held back by companies like this. Rewritable CDs, DVDs, and BD (blue ray) have been around for ages and we still have to pay an arm and leg for it. I'd like to see the market improve with lower cost high capacity rewritable optical media. Today's only real option for backing up personal data to prevent computer disasters is hard drives and hard drives love to fail, the whole reason for backups!
I sent my Lumix camera in for repair. I received not one, but three estimates - each asking for more money. The shipping was sub-par and left the camera open to damage. It had a sheet of bubble wrap rolled around it, but the bubble wrap wasn’t secured so the camera slipped out and might have bounced around in the package. The camera seems to work but I hope it didn’t get any internal damage from the lack of appropriate packing. I would not recommend the Panasonic repair service unless something was under warranty.

I was very pleased with this microwave by Panasonic my last one by them lasted years. But sadly after a year of happy use the defrost program started to cook instead of slowly defrosting, same regular product from the supermarket are no longer defrosting perfectly but are now starting to cook within minutes, luckily I was still in the kitchen after turning on the usual Chaos Defrost to hear spitting and the scent of cooked mince in the air. JL were helpful to forward me on to Panasonic customer care and have also been corresponding endlessly with the appalling customer service provided by Panasonic even to the point of having the call cut off!! and that's where the disappointment really heats up!! I have been given every excuse under the sun, requested to do numerous test with my purchased meat products, I've sent images, videos of said sizzling frozen items but still the requests keep coming. They seem to be completely ignoring the fact that this microwave was working just fine until now! The latest excuse "the unit will not be able to defrost a deep-frozen whole chicken easily at all. Kindly note that it is very difficult to defrost a deep-frozen whole chicken in the microwave. We recommend cutting it into pieces and, to leave the chicken to defrost at room temperature for longer'. Odd because its been defrosting perfectly till now! Now awaiting for a manager to call, dont see that happening. The palaver continues…..

I’ve been waiting a month now for my refund for a microwave that didn’t even work for 2 months with an error they swear is rare. I emailed them all requested information and they emailed me back asking for the same information that was STILL in the same email chain….. I sent it yet again and a month later and still no refund sent. Pathetic. Don’t waste money on this brand. This all started beginning of August and I got the run around then finally settled on a refund August 28 I re sent the email and still NOTHING. I’ve reached out since trying to find an update…. Nothing. The guy doing it his part of the job should be looking for something else. He is terrible.

Bought a new cordless phone system in April 24 and it went out in July 2024. Customer service wants me to send it in repairs which takes several weeks to complete. In the mean time my 86yr old MIL who lives alone in rural west Texas is supposed to get by without a phone. Terrible Customer Service. Never buying another Panasonic product.

I’ve owned several of their products over the years, most notably an electric razor which I purchased in 2015- it’s still running: I’ve never replaced the blades, despite the fact that I have a heavy beard; I clean it after every use; and it doesn’t hold a charge as long as it used to. I have thought about replacing it with a newer Panasonic razor, but why? So long as mine keeps working, I probably won’t.

I bought a Panasonic 65" LED android smart TV (model: TX-65HX712E) I bought the TV summer of 2021 So its roughtly 3 years old in total. The TV has been taken good care of. Its been in our livingroom in our rental appartment first, after a year we moved to our own appartment and have been in our bedroom since then. The TV has never been dropped, nothing has hit the screen as we have no kids og animals. We are none smokers! We had some small issues from the beginning with the TV being very slow at startup. Sometimes I had to do a hard reset (unpluging it from the electricity). And Ive had to completely reset factory settings once as it didnt responde to hard reset. We have never had anything connected to the TV besides the Bluetooth remote that followed along with the TV. Its only been connected to the internet in order to use Apps as Netflix, HBO etc. An evening last week we wanted to continue watching a Netflix series we had started. On startup the screen picture was "smashed"? we had a white bar on the left side from top to bottom about 1/8 of the screen? we had been seeing TV the evening before nothing wrong? So I contacted Panasonic and explained what had happen and that the TV had been running for 83 days 12 hours and 58min ( you can find the info in the settings of the TV). Just got a standart response that they were very sad to hear this... but they couldent help us!? So this is what to expect from a TV in the upper price range (cost more than 1000Eur). Ive previously had a top of the line Panasonic Plasma TV that I couldent kill, I sold the TV for a box of beer to some student that needed a TV for his room. So after this experience the next TV I buy is definitely NOT a Panasonic. And for the future buys I wont consider Panasonic with this very bad experience and poor service.

I'm extremely disappointed with Panasonic. I recently purchased a brand new split AC unit, only to discover it malfunctioning. To make matters worse, I contacted Panasonic by email ten days ago regarding the issue, but haven't received any helpful response or resolution. This lack of communication and customer service is simply unacceptable. Considering the faulty product and Panasonic's complete lack of response, I strongly advise against purchasing their products.

I received a wet/dry shaver for Christmas 2023, and in March a part broke so I went online to file a claim, never heard anything. I now have 3 ticket numbers and no repaired shaver. I have been told that this was escalated 2 times...nothing. I will NEVER ask for or buy another panasonic product again

I used to trust Panasonic. I bought 2 of the worst DVD players I have ever had in all the years that they have been out. Delayed responses, frequent rejection stating discs are incompatible, functions like Zoom that is loaded on the CD but can't be touched unless you're connected to the internet and pull it off something else. Complete pieces of s***. I guarantee I will never buy another Panasonic anything again. They certainly weren't the cheapest and they certainly are the worst. It's really too bad because once I trusted the company and its products. I swore at these for the 2 years I've owned them. They went to recycling today.... that way they may have some value.
