I used this company to deliver 2 bikes in the last month (sold bikes to buy new bike).
First experience was relatively successful so ignored some of the average reviews and booked again, which I wouldn't do again.
First bike: booked bike box to arrive Thursday before collection on the Monday. Allowing time for a day slippage and then still packing. Instead box and tape arrived with driver from 'local partner' saying 'I've also got one to pick up, in this 30min window'. Luckily I was working from home and it was lunch time. Driver cameback 20mins later and I'd packed bike and it went. The good part - it arrived next day. Over all happy with service.
Second bike: not good. I used my own bike box this time, from my new bike, so thought I'd removed the chance of the previous experience. This time delivery was issue. Collected as planned, 2 day service. It took 10 days, only after lots of chasing. Tracking info vaigue and irrelevant/useless. As Paisley freight used 3rd party/partner it was a nightmare getting hold of them. Both me and buyer were on hold for long periods. After finally an attempted delivery it was decided should change to alternative work address, as it was now over a week later so recipient situation was different. Local partner couldn't find reference of parcel on tracking I, sender, had nor have my details to confirm change of address when recipient, who was carded, requested change. Finally got there 10 days later, and holes in the box, not as planned.
Overall, I was pleased I bought extra insurance and it was only when I asked to claim against it a week after initial delivery date anything happened.
Would I use them again, probably not. Definitely not with an expensive item, success rate of service promissed way too low! 50% of the time, works every time
