Booked a collection. Was given a 2 hour expected collection time. Was in my garage getting it ready for collection. They rung my doorbell and 60 seconds later left. It takes me that to walk from my garage. After speaking to paisley freight the supervisor is rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend

I recently sent two bikes with them via their courier partner. I couldn't believe the damage that was inflicted to both bikes on separate occasions. I seen photos of the damage and I must admit it was shocking. The bikes where properly packed up in bike boxes with internal wrapping for more protection. I have sent bikes in the past with no problems until now. Both of these bikes where practically brand new as well. One of the pictures it looked like the box had been run over by a lorry? That was bad enough but what was really terrible was the lack of support and negative responses from them about trying to resolve this or indeed make a farcical claim through their so called insurance, it looked liked you had a form to fill in that asked everything from you which wasn't really all that relevant in my mind? My feeling is that this was to put you off claiming (maximum £100)? Anyway shocking service from them recently and would never use them again.

I used this company to deliver 2 bikes in the last month (sold bikes to buy new bike). First experience was relatively successful so ignored some of the average reviews and booked again, which I wouldn't do again. First bike: booked bike box to arrive Thursday before collection on the Monday. Allowing time for a day slippage and then still packing. Instead box and tape arrived with driver from 'local partner' saying 'I've also got one to pick up, in this 30min window'. Luckily I was working from home and it was lunch time. Driver cameback 20mins later and I'd packed bike and it went. The good part - it arrived next day. Over all happy with service. Second bike: not good. I used my own bike box this time, from my new bike, so thought I'd removed the chance of the previous experience. This time delivery was issue. Collected as planned, 2 day service. It took 10 days, only after lots of chasing. Tracking info vaigue and irrelevant/useless. As Paisley freight used 3rd party/partner it was a nightmare getting hold of them. Both me and buyer were on hold for long periods. After finally an attempted delivery it was decided should change to alternative work address, as it was now over a week later so recipient situation was different. Local partner couldn't find reference of parcel on tracking I, sender, had nor have my details to confirm change of address when recipient, who was carded, requested change. Finally got there 10 days later, and holes in the box, not as planned. Overall, I was pleased I bought extra insurance and it was only when I asked to claim against it a week after initial delivery date anything happened. Would I use them again, probably not. Definitely not with an expensive item, success rate of service promissed way too low! 50% of the time, works every time
I have used Paisley Freight over and over during the years. They have been consistently the best price, the fastest service, the easiest to use. This time it was a 30Kg Awning and poles in a stupid shaped box from the other side of the country. Picked up monday, here wednesday. Absolutely brilliant
booked a collection for 4 alloy wheels and tyres for a ebay purchase collected when promised and delivered next day very pleased with the service and a very good price
I've sent multiple bikes via Paisley Freight without issue but this last time has been a disaster. The bike arrived scratched but luckily I'd paid for additional cover with the total order being £100. I tried to claim on the insurance but was told that it was a packing issue, despite following their advice, using their box and providing imagery taken before the collection proving that the item was packaged properly. The only slight up side was that I was able to recover the £100 fee by raising a case through PayPal which they couldn't be bothered to reply to. Sadly I won't be using them again.
Awful company, be very aware of the missed collection scam. The don’t call and say they do when you’re in all day. This is clearly a policy to get profits up. Terrible customer service and still in 2022 using covid as an excuse to have zero customer service, no number to call and response time are purposely long
Sent a bike with Paisley Freight. It magically turned into a box of plants and was never seen again. A member of staff from APC (their business partner) was dismissed after an investigation by their security manager. It’s a shame as I had used them several times before. You only know how good or bad a company is when you have a problem.
Was a bit sceptical after reading reviews which appeared to be either 1* or 5*. However it was all straightforward, collected on time and delivered the next day within the UK at a very reasonable price, Also I couldn’t find any other shipping companies that would accept tyres to be shrink wrapped. Others insisted on boxes but it was impossible to find suitably sized and sturdy boxes to fit tyres. I would definitely use again if I needed to.
Overall a good result; contacting Paisley Freight had to be via email, but response time was good and overall a good value transportation of 4 car wheels. Would definitely use again but ensure you allow enough time when you have to send labels to be put on the parcels being sent.
Took a day off and Waited in all day .The delivery when I checked at 6pm said failed delivery attempt.I checked my ring door bell no delivery person at the time stated no missed ring door bell i checked the whole day .they then said the driver called my mobile no nobody called me either.had to pay another 9.99 for the un seen delivery for my item to be collected. I've recommended ppl to Paisley and given them good custom in the past feel totally robbed .never again
