What a horrible experience
What a horrible experience, and a waste of £25.
Booked and paid for collection of 2x alloy wheels and agreed collection date.
On the day, waited in from 8am - 6pm as per their requirements, nobody came, no contact whatsoever. Emailed them, they apologised, no explanation given for the missed collection, and we agreed another date.
On the second date, no sign of them by 3pm so I emailed to check they were still coming. Email back - yes, we're coming today... Except they didn't.
Emailed again, they again apologised and said there were backlogs. You can't call them as if you phone their number you get a recorded message saying their office is closed.
I received a call the day after, guy explained there were 'gremlins in the system' and could we arrange another collection date for the following Monday. So the wheels stay in my hallway for another three days and I look forward to them being collected on Monday. I apologise to the buyer who has been waiting for his wheels for over a week.
Monday comes, and at 10.45 I get an automated 'collection missed' email asking me to re-book. "There was no one at the collection address or answer to the phone number provided."
Wife and I have been home all morning, up since 6am, we live in a small house and have a labrador who barks her head off at the merest hint of anyone at the door. We're aware they are coming and listening out for any couriers. There have been no knocks at the door or missed calls on my phone.
I email them for the 10th time, a response from a nameless individual tells me their driver took a photo of my door and that's that... I am personally convinced they made no attempt to knock at the door, and they certainly didn't try to phone me.
After that, I decided this company is incapable of providing the services it mentions on its website and have rebooked with another courier. Will chalk the £25 up to experience and hopefully somebody else doesn't make the same mistake as me!
