Baught a bike

Baught a bike. They went bump while it was under warranty still. I now have a 500pound bill for stator reg rectifyer replacement which paddocks should have sorted for me for free. I hear a rumor they re opened under the name pro moto down by bulls bank industrial estate. I used them for years with no issues. Gutted dosent even cover how I feel

The owner is b@@@@@d sticks in your…

The owner is a b@st@rd, sticks in your mind?doesnt it?, after reading a post purchase review. Another, Luke is incompetent and never answers his calls and is extremely disingenuous with the truth. Both are truisms of my experience, I purchased A BMW k 1600 traded in a bike re advertised by them, as ,meticulously maintained,I wish the new one was ? So many things wrong on ride out on the ISLAND. It tried to kill me twice, Putting me nearly into a wall, second in front of oncoming traffic as it ran wide, supposedly serviced, whats the first thing you do on a service @ tyres .Both were on a 320 kilo heavyweight over one third down on correct tyre pressures, how bad is that?New battery promised, the one in the bike stayed in the bike covered in s@@t and the holder quarter full of water ? i had to push luke for pics of the pannier, nicely avoided on a film, both heavily marked, one with edging fell off at receipt.A half inch hole in the driveshaft gaitor, which invites the crud in.Both exhausts dented and scratched.Keyless fuel cap left me abondened at a garage,it wouldnt open,Did they do an oil change now ?two sumps in a k series? makes you question. Now i paid full money to them on a bike that looked ,it been kept in a swamp, fasteners so corroded snapping at removal or angle grinded off, I only required telling as the purchaser, that's all as to make a informed opinion ,I paid four hundred pounds for my bike delivered and my old 5 years bike to be returned to them to make a 2000 pound added profit on what they gave me for trade in,i paid them to make a profit, with the profit on my new bike, I reckon theyll make close to three k on the total deal. So why silence,s@@t service or worse no service at all, this bike needs to go to BMW ON THE MAINLAND FOR REPAIRS UNTOLD TO ME DELIBERATELY LYING ,Why at 70 years old, should i return this bike ferry and hundreds of miles away to fix everything they should have done in the first place and couldn't be bothered delivering a dangerous bike. My next step as im not worth a phone call is editorial thru my old company H.Bauer to Motorcycle News plus these people should lose the franchise on Yamaha which ill also be taking up with old friends in Surrey, Absolutely abysmal give these retro chancers the widest berth that they gave me on my new purchase and vote with your feet by never crossing these charlatans door kick. Like Captain Smith on the Titanic, you've been warned.

Bought a used gsxr1000 from these guys whole experience been nothing but a nightmare they never call you back not interested in faults with the bike which was present when it left showroom but I only noticed when on way home .had to trace the service history myself in which Luke in sales failed to do in all probably worst customer service on the planet once they have your money not interested.the tyres on bike only just above legal limit which I argued when collecting and I had to contribute to that for a new tyre more fool me should have walked away then absolute sharks

Booked an MOT with paddock as…

Booked an MOT with paddock as richardsons next door was closed until the 26th (as per sign on richardsons door), have just been rang by paddock as they cannot do MOT until after the 26th! As they use the MOT tester from next door, which they should have known on Sunday the 15th when I booked the MOT because richardsons were closed. I had booked a day off work for my MOT assuming Paddock had their own staff and equipment , four hours notice of cancellation means I have now wasted a days holiday. Appalling Service.

Just purchased my new yamaha xsr from Paddock Motorcycles, and I can not say enough to praise this company, from my initial enquiry regarding the purchase to the completion of the deal, they where always on hand giving me their professional input in a clear and surfisive manner, the young chap who patiently dealt with me was called Luke and was such a pleasure to deal with, also felt he really had the customers best interests at heart, once I pass my test and have a few years of riding experience,I will definitely give luke a call for my new steed, also just to say if you are looking at purchasing a new bike you should definitely give him a call, because he managed to deliver a deal that know other company could match, thxs again Luke, and as Arne says,I will be back.

I am writing to express my deep…

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent purchase of a Yamaha Tricity 125 from Paddock Motorcycles. As a first-time Yamaha customer, I had high expectations for both the product and the customer service associated with your reputable brand. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory, and I am seeking your assistance in resolving these issues. Firstly, during the delivery of the motorcycle, the delivery person failed to provide me with the instruction manual, RAC cover details, and spare keys. I had to contact Paddock Motorcycles separately to have these essential items posted to me, causing unnecessary inconvenience and delays. Furthermore, I suspect that the right-hand handle of the bike was damaged during the delivery process. Although I cannot be completely certain whether the delivery person was at fault, the fact remains that after riding the bike for just 3 miles, the handle came loose, leading to a potentially serious injury. I find it disconcerting that a reputable brand like Yamaha did not equip this bike with more secure bar ends to prevent such incidents. Upon contacting Paddock Motorcycles to rectify the problem, they initially sounded helpful, giving me hope that the issue would be addressed promptly. However, I waited for two days without receiving any communication from them. Frustrated by the lack of response, I had to chase them to explain my growing frustration. It was then that they informed me to visit my nearest local dealer service to have the issue fixed. When I contacted the local dealer service and explained the situation, I was informed that I would have to wait for over three weeks for the repair to be carried out. This is where I began to lose trust in both your brand and dealers. The prolonged wait time and lack of prompt action from the local dealer service have left me deeply concerned about the potential future difficulties I might encounter with the bike. Given the circumstances, I have reluctantly decided to return the bike. However, Paddock Motorcycles has made the return process excessively burdensome. As this was a distant sale facilitated through the Auto Trader website, they expect me to bear the cost of returning the item, which amounts to approximately £400. Moreover, they insist that I must be physically present during the returns process. I find this requirement highly unusual, as most online purchases allow for returns without the need for in-person interactions. Additionally, Paddock Motorcycles has threatened to deduct any damages from the refund amount, despite the fact that there is no cosmetic damage to the bike, apart from the handle issue and the engine not starting. When I sought clarification on whether I would be charged for the existing problem, they suddenly ceased responding to my inquiries. It is both unfair and unreasonable to expect me to undertake an 8-9 hour journey at my own expense, potentially face additional charges, and endure such unnecessary inconvenience. If I were to proceed with the return as currently proposed, I would suffer a financial loss of approximately £1000 within a week of purchasing a brand new bike. As a consumer, I believe it is my statutory right to return an unsatisfactory item within a reasonable time frame. However, the conditions imposed by Paddock Motorcycles make this process excessively costly, both financially and in terms of the stress and inconvenience I would have to endure. It is disheartening to see that a dealer lacking sympathy towards their clients can tarnish the reputation of a brand like Yamaha. As I have no hope from this dealer anymore It is my hope that Yamaha, as a reputable brand, upholds its commitment to customer satisfaction and takes appropriate action to rectify this situation.

How a bike dealer should be

Prior to calling at Paddock Motorcycles, Congleton (my town) I had called in to two larger dealers to check the stock out of curiosity. On both occasions I was met with at best indifference and worse, incompetence. Both were either disinterested in my custom or couldn't answer any simple bike related question. I'm not one for knocking a business but I was genuinely shocked by the lack of interest and knowledge. I decided to check out Paddock online and although the used stock was more limited, I noticed some great new bike offers and called in for a chat. I was immediately met with a smiling face and offer of any help if needed. From that moment I was impressed and so pursued my options further. I spoke to Luke who helped me with any and all questions I had and offered me a fantastic deal on a brand new Tracer 9GT which I snapped up. The whole process was smooth and uncomplicated even down to me changing my mind on the bike's colour 2 days before pick up, which Luke sorted without question. If you're looking for good old fashioned impeccable customer service with a friendly bunch of lads, Paddock comes highly recommended (They even deliver nationwide) Really, really pleased. Thanks Luke and the team at Paddock
