Very efficient service at the Playa Del Ingles office, both at pick-up on 8/7/2025 and return on 11/7/2025.No attempt to sell unwanted excess insurance, just an explanation of the choice I had to take it or not. I'm not entirely sure the car I was given was truly an equivalent of the VW Polo I booked although that didn't detract from excellent service otherwise.
The lady at the front desk was very helpful, we got a c class car: toyota with 6gears. Well kept and clean. Air con and eveything was on point. No waiting when picking up, and legt the car outside theor office and delivered the keys;) I can recommend Orlando car rental via Bahia Feliz;)

Ik huurde een auto via DoYouSpain (DYS) in Playa del Ingles aan een promotioneel tarief bij Orlando. Bij afhaling waren de dames aan de balie zeer vriendelijk. De auto op zich was een wrak. Zeer oude Citroen C3 met heel veel kilometer op de teller. Motor gaf steeds een technische storing aan die moest hersteld worden. Volgens Orlando kon dat geen kwaad. Versnellingsbak was murw gereden. De bergen door in eerste en tweede versnelling is geen pretje. Op de autostrade kon geen snelheid gehaald worden. Auto was rondom beschadigd en het interieur was vies. Geen publiciteit noch voor Orlando, noch voor DYS. Neem geen verzekering bij DYS, Orlando biedt een gelijkaardige verzekering aan voor +/- dezelfde prijs en als je die neemt hoef je geen borg te stellen.
UNA AUTÉNTICA VERGÜENZA! Varios motivos por los que no alquilaría de nuevo aquí. Pedimos una silla de viaje para bebé, que por lo pronto nos cobraron prácticamente la mitad de lo que costó alquilar el coche durante 3 días. La silla está rota y no realiza su función de seguridad debidamente, lo notifiqué y me dijeron que no tenían más, pero lo peor de todo en este aspecto es que la silla me la dejaron en la carretera para que la montase yo, viendo que iba con un bebé, mi mujer muy embarazada y cargado de maletas. Un falta de hospitalidad y profesionalidad tremenda. Al montarme en el coche veo que el depósito no está lleno y le falta 1/4, y me hicieron firmar un depósito lleno para devolverlo lleno, lo notifiqué también por supuesto, y me ignoraron.
El trato fue horroroso a la hora de gestionar estas discrepancias; no se preocuparon ni tampoco se hicieron cargo.
Al montarnos al coche notamos que hay varias cosas rotas dentro del coche y me di media vuelta para notificarlas también, ya que no cogí el seguro a todo riesgo, y al no estar anotadas en el mapa de daños me dijeron textualmente: si quieres quedarte tranquilo contrata el seguro a todo riesgo, que supuso prácticamente la totalidad del alquiler del coche. En definitiva, el precio de esta empresa, que es lo más atractivo, se convierte en un engaño al tener que contratar el seguro, porque los coches están hechos una porquería y los extras, como por ejemplo silla de coche. NO LO RECOMIENDO EN ABSOLUTO. Ha sido un error por querer ahorrarme algún dinero, que me ha salido más caro y encima me llevo un sabor de boca muy muy agrio.
We booked their car in advance. through Ryanair/Booking/Rentalcar website/app, thinking that that would make it safer, but sadly it didn't (mabye it even made it worse)
We expected "meet&greet" on the LasPalmas Airport, but no one was waiting, there were no signs were to wait. we waited and searched and after about half an hour we called them first time - the call took 15 seconds (they just said, yes yes, airport, wait) .. And we waited. 8 calls, hour and a half later (tired, hungry, angry and scared that we got scammed) i canceled our reservation through the phone (they said ok (i think), but that they'll have to request the refund from the app-agency) Then we had to rent from some other rentacar agency on the airport, which cost us almost three times the money (as we couldnt check and compare the prices online and "fight", because we were, on the road for almost 14 hours by then)
I thought that refund would be easy deal, as no one came pick us up and we didn't get the car - but more than three in app "complaints" and ten mails later, they kept telling us that the cancelation is not possible anymore, because it was past our pickup hour. And we have to wait for the end of our rental to make a complaint, but best they will do was maybe return the insurance.
So, a big big "AVOID at all cost" for Orlando and Ryanair/Booking rentacar app !!
Urimelig ventetid på shuttlebus i lufthavnen Ca 2 timer. Ingen information, man ved ikke om man er glemt. For få mennesker til for meget arbejde ved aflevering, igen lang ventetid. Bilen var ok. Personalet var ok, systemet fungerer ikke særligt godt. Kan ikke anbefales.
Tuvimos un accidente del cual no fuimos culpables, llevamos la pertinente denuncia conforme no eramos culpables pero no nos devolvieron la franquicia de 600 euros, porque se tenian que poner de acuerdo los seguros. Hasta aqui lo entiendo pero llevo un mes esperando y no me han devuelto el dinero aun sabiendo que solo tienen 28 dias para retenerme el dinero. JAMAS VOLVERE A ALQUILARLES UN COCHE
Una vergüenza! Te cobran 45 euros de administración por una multa que me enviaron a mi casa. Encima un coche en fatal estado que consumía excesivamente gasolina.

then when we get there even though i had my own full coverage insurance they still charged me a fee that is almost the same as not having insurance and having to pay for one
i booked the rental for $15 a day i ended up paying $55 while just few days ago i was @ priceline and didn't get charged anything extra

worst experience in my life specially after a long trip and being tired already and also the process was amazinling slow took us about 2 hours to get our car
Abbiamo noleggiato un'auto per 8 giorni a Gran Canaria, prenotando in anticipo on line. All'aeroporto una navetta ci ha prelevati e portati alla sede in pochi minuti. Rispetto ad altre esperienze con i noleggi, devo dire fin qui tutto ok. Abbastanza puntuali e veloci.
Stipuliamo il contratto, preautorizzazione sulla carta, tutto normale, ma al momento di pagare ci viene chiesto anche il pieno di benzina + € 15 di servizio di refilling (??!!!??). Alla richiesta di spiegazioni ci viene risposto di riportare il serbatoio più vuoto possibile perchè la benzina la si paga prima.
Dunque, non è certo la prima volta che noleggiamo un mezzo, inoltre ci occupiamo noi stessi di noleggio, da sempre e dappertutto è consuetudine il cosiddetto "pieno per pieno", cioè si noleggia il mezzo col pieno e si riconsegna con il pieno, e se ciò non fosse, si paga la benzina mancante + il servizio di refilling, giustamente, perchè spettante a noi.
Ma se uno non consuma tutto il serbatoio perchè vuole anche riposare e non visitare tutta l'isola? Mica ti restituiscono i soldi, no eh!! Noi abbiamo restituito l'auto con mezzo serbatoio e buttato soldi, oltre alla sgradevole sensazione di essere stati fregati. Non noleggeremo più niente da Orlando rent.
Avoid this company, terrible customer service, confirmed a price on email for us for our car when booked a month in advance then they doubled the deposit amount twice from £200 to £500 to £1000 once we were stood in the airport waiting for them to collect us to get our car! We had to cancel the booking but luckily alamo (another car rental company) overheard us in the airport and sorted us with a bigger car at a cheaper price with absolutely no deposit. It also took me chasing them up 2 weeks later to get any response and a refund.
Giunti in aeroporto Gran Canaria, seguendo le indicazioni non troviamo fuori della struttura il punto Orlando come scritto sulle indicazioni. Dopo vari tentativi scopriamo che il punto incontro con operatore è davanti al supermercato zona entrata. Attendiamo un ora per finalmente essere trasportati a mezzo pullman presso il centro Orlando a circa 10 km ove, ulteriore attesa disbrigo pratiche, ci viene assegnata un' auto con 7800 km pulita e conforme alle aspettative però con vari graffi anche importanti che, avendo stipulato casco da ulteriori 73 euro passano quasi inosservato. Alla riconsegna auto, medesimo iter, punto Orlando attesa pullman ed accompagnamento aeroporto. Morale un po' di perdite di tempo, di sole e di ore rubate alla nostra vacanza.
