Sold our house with Ocean, Portishead. I cannot recommend them enough. Demi in particular was incredible with sales progression and liaised with other agents and also solicitors to ensure things went smoothly from all directions of the chain. She went above and beyond and all staff in the Portishead office were fantastic. Communication was excellent throughout and if I move again, I would use them without hesitation. We also used the Ocean solicitors and Claire was amazing too. So pleased with our choice. Thank you to everyone at Portishead Ocean.

From start to finish the whole process of selling our property through Ocean was excellent. In particular we liked the modern atmosphere and attitude of the Downend office with a break out area where you could discuss your business in relative privacy. The consistent, clear flow of information throughout the process was by telephone was very good, with an on-line information hub that provides all the details and updates regarding progress of the sale. We also used the services the Ocean legal team for the conveyancing (they are based in the office above the agency) and for the same reasons this worked really well for us. Unlike our previous experiences with conveyancing, everything was well communicated by email and telephone with their own on line hub providing clarity on progress throughout the process. Everything was very "joined up" between the Agents and Legal resulting in the whole selling process taking around 3 months which we were very happy with. I would not hesitate in recommending Ocean to friends and family

The Ocean Clifton team did a great job in getting the sale of my flat past the finishing post. Special mention must go to Andrew, who handled the last few weeks of what was starting to look like a no-sale immaculately.

We used solicitor from the Oceans Bradley Stoke office when buying a property recently. The service we received or actually the lack of it was very poor. The communication during the process was non existent. Took ages to get any issues sorted. Were given wrong information on the property and after the completion we were completely ignored! Constantly were sent wrong invoices to pay. Very stressful process and they made it much worse! Awful firm and not cheap. AVOID AT ALL COST !!!!!

Even with a change in solicitor on the vendor side, Ocean's team have completed on a leasehold flat in plenty of time for exchange of contracts on our next purchase of a freehold house - impressive. It was a pleasure to work with Olivia and she was invaluable in ensuring we made the right decisions on the problem aspects of the sale. Efficient, professional and thorough. Exactly what you need in a conveyancer. We’ll be back.

Lack of communication. Lack of response to phone calls, being told the named person was out of the office. The sale only progressed once I stated I wanted the property to be relisted. Very poor service.

All the team were super helpful and supportive . They did an amazing job with the marketing and arranged for 23 viewings over a weekend of which ten put in offers.There were a few set backs along the way but the advice offered was very helpful. Special shoutout to Julie the move manager for all the reassurance and support.

Really easy time finding a house with this company. The viewings were helpful and we had a lot of questions answered. After submitting our applications the communication with staff, especially Lily Butler, was very clear and we received quick responses to questions and issues we had. Overall great experience!

Ocean Estate Agents - Downends' team have been amazing during the purchase of our first home. All the team have gone above and beyond to help us. From the initial house viewings, with Molly and Joe through to the completion, with Lisa they have all been both professional and personable. Although they were not our solicitors, the whole process was smooth and hassle-free due to Lisa continuously keeping is informed and in the loop, on what was happening, and what needed to happen to get us completed. They were really helpful. They offered really useful advice and support in finding a mortgage, and they were especially helpful around rate changes, always looking out for improved and better offers. I felt very well looked after.

Regularly updated me on what was happening and were always willing to accommodate requests for additional work while the property was empty.
