The process of selling the house subject to contract was very slick. The photo's were professional and we were happy with the advert. The price charged was competitive. The house sold in 8 days! After that, the process felt like it dragged and that the estate agents were being biased slightly too much towards the buyer. This is our first experience selling a house though, so we have nothing to compare the experience to.

From the first point of contact to the final sale, the experience was outstanding. The team arranged a viewing promptly and had the property listed before I could even get a viewing with other agents. The sale was completed quickly, largely thanks to the excellent photos that really showcased the property. I was kept in the loop throughout the process, with regular updates and feedback about any concerns from potential buyers. This proactive communication made the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Highly recommended!

Had a great experience with Ocean as a first time buyer. Melissa especially was really great and making sure I was kept up to date with everything and keeping in touch. She was very kind and flexible around my schedule and offering extra support. I would definitely recommend their services.

Ocean Sales were very efficient at putting my flat on the market and showing it to prospective buyers. However, once an offer was accepted, there was a slowing down, with an expectation given me that the process would take at least 4 months to complete. My first feedback is that Ocean did not provide good enough service to their client after the offer had been accepted. My first potential buyer pulled out after 11weeks. He was obviously dragging his feet and I suspected that he would not procede but was reassured by Ocean that he wasn’t a time waster’. I felt that Ocean should have undertaken more scrutiny about the buyer’s situation and kept on top of progress with conveyancing. My second complaint is that they encourage buyers to use their own conveyancing team at Ocean Lawyers, who take on new cases when they don’t have capacity. The process with my second buyer was so slow, which was unnecessary as the sale was straightforward. I finally completed my sale after 8 months with Ocean. Overall, Ocean as a business are overstretched and appear to take on more sales and conveyancing than they have the capacity to manage.
