Mr. Delivery Reviews

After having a bad online order not delivered yet my money ws deducted from my account, spoke to several consultants and they didn't treat me well, we're rude and unbearable after 2 fraudulent experiences from Mr D they couldn't help yet I asked for the drivers contacts and insisted the driver messaged but had no reference of the messages. This was the second time this had happened to me and i was frustrated, then Sanelisiwe came to my rescue, it didn't take her long to assist after understanding my situation. Sanelisiwe offered me the best customer service ever kudozzzz to her. My order number dfd262611390 cosmo city 2. Till now I've been getting messages about order numbers yet I never got anything . I hope u train ur staff e same way

I ordered several dishes for myself from a Japanese’s restaurant. One of the side dishes was vegetable tempura. The restaurant does also offer a mixed seafood tempura. I did not order that because I’m allergic to molluscs. However my side of vegetable tempura came but inside were tempura scallops unbeknownst to me. I only discovered this after eating one. The restaurant chef admitted the mix up but as far as a complaint or compensation referred me back to Mr D. That night and the following day I vomited several times and then had cramps and diarrhoea until the next evening. What should have been a pleasant and enjoyable meal turned into a painful nightmare of a weekend. After many whattsapps, calls and emails to Mr D I finally got a response several days later asking me how I’d rate the service I’d gotten. I had to remind them that they had not dealt with my issue at all so why would I rate the customer service. Eventually on providing more details and photos yet again they paid back only the price of the vegetable tempura when I had spent about 6 x this amount in the whole meal that was all uncomfortably vomited up. They apparently think this is satisfactory compensation and service. I don’t agree. I basically paid to be poisoned . Wish I’d never used their service . They don’t deserve the business. Appalling customer care. No one ever even asked if I was ok Sincerely Charles R, Cape Town April 2025

I find it very inconveniencing that 1 should call you on watsap call do deliver your food and the customer service agent was also rude upon requesting my refund he’s name is Luzuko kept talking over me and had no time to listen to what I had to say, I’ll stick to drive through’s there’s absolutely no reason why I should struggle with my money like this

You actually do not deserve even a star. You stole from me for the 2nd now. I ordered food for my elderly aunt who lives at old age home village. All the instructions were given where and to who it should be delivered... The driver followed my location instead of taking the order to the address which is far from the restaurant I ordered from at the gate our security couldnt allow him in as he did not know the unit number. They called from the to let me know that the driver is lost and i asked them to tell him to take it to where I instructed the food to be delivered and instead he took took the food back to KFC and the lady contacted me there letting me know to re-order or claim my money back from Mr delivery.Till this day i have not been credited my money... 2ndly most of their drivers are very dirty. You should train them about cleanliness especially because they are working with food. Disappointed big time

I placed an order and they deducted money from my account then they said I have no order placed I called, I messaged same thing it's a scam Mr d doesn't deliver

A star isnt even deserved! they hired drunk and hungry driver to deliver eaten food, food squashed in the box, unable to even eat! I paid for quality and the food came to me like someone took the food and swirled it around and to cover the fact that it was eaten, squashed the entire pizza to make it look like it wasnt. I called there customer care line twice, Spoke to an uneducated person called James, who couldnt even say his name! As he asked me for my order number he hanged up on me! The end time I called same story! Pathetic Service! We pay alot of money and this is the state the food must come in! I want a full refund! Please dont order from them, you will waste your money and time! disgraceful!

If I could rate the customer service a 0, that would still be too much! Honestly! So much back and forth with them copying and pasting the same answers which is always, send more info, which they already have all of the information that could possibly be given for inedible food and terrible service! DO NOT USE THEM! They are completely over priced and an absolute waste of money! I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! Save your money and fetch the food yourself!

Paid for food but was delivered at the wrong adress!!! Phoned logged a dispute but waiting and waiting!!!

Funny, when they ask to rate your food and driver, there is never a followed up. I have been in a case where my order was wrong (several times) but they never took the time to follow up with my rating.

I live in a complex and MrD drivers always calling and saying they can't find the unit, there are numbers big enough to see from a mile away, lazy drivers, useless service

Mr D in Middleburg are scammers people watch out is the worst on earth, they don't deliver your food and when you call them they tell you the food was send to the bin and they can't refund you.today I had lost the fourth order that was not delivered and but all the blame pinned on me to say I did not answer my phone or I did not wait outside for them since the drive did not haver airtime What I have noticed is that Middleburg Mpumalanger MR D drivers steals your order and claims you were not home so they can take the food ,to make matters worse on your app it will show food delivered and when you call them they become rude Please be aware of Mr D Middleburg Mpumalanga South africans

I just received my order and the Cappy juice which cost R33, what it advertised and what i recieved in person is 2 different things. Its a bloody juice box which cost R33. Really bad avertisement and service

Maybe train your delivery personnel to check an order before it leaves a restaurant. We ordered, and paid, for four drinks but only three arrived. The person who delivered it was told to bring the drink but she never bothered to return, no apology for forgetting it plus there was no response as to why it wasn't delivered. I won't use Mr Delivery again - pathetic service.

TOTALY TOTALY Useless i made an order for over R500 and apparently the driver arrived at my gate and tried to contact me to deliver my food and apparently he didn't get hold of me so my delivery got cancelled, so this means the driver took my food and just drove away with it so now i sit without food and a -R515 out of my bank account THANK YOU MR DELIVERY FOR NOTHING ALL YOU ARE ALL A BUNCH OF USELESS IDDIOTS AND ROBBERS

Today was a first for me. Sylva Kalonji from takealot/mr delivery are the best delivery person I have met in forever. He went above and beyond to get me my parcel. Dude you are the bomb

Driver gets lost and delivers cold food, and somehow I must see through bag that the food is cold. This company is ridiculous, how does a driver get lost in a road for so long that the food gets cold. Takealot does not get lost, steers does not get lost, deboniars does not get lost, uber does not get lost, but your drivers get lost. Its disgusting that you are not taking responsibility of your driver failing to deliver a service on behalf of the Steers franchise.

Bad Service. Ordered 1kg wings. Only received a 500g portion. Company refuses to help me,only excuses given. Bad,bad, service.

This company called Mr D,I ordered twice 1.Food did not arrive apprantly motor bike accident 2.Ordered from Mochacchos rock cottage and driver food never arrived but says on the app food arrived ,apprantly the driver ate the food Very bad service, Uber eats I recommend any day

Excellent, I placed my order at Kauai, and within minutes my order in process, continiously received updates and I could actively track the order. Thanks to a smooth running well organised Company assisted by good restaurants. Thank you

Been struggling for more than 4 hours to sort out my transaction, al they can say is they are waiting for a response.
