As I was refilling my softener's salt for about the 72th time (I have a monthly reminder), it occurred to me that it worked without problems for 6 years already, and that I ought to put in a good review. So here it is. Very happy with my Monarch Midi softener. It consumes exactly what the technical specs had predicted - making it reasonably priced to buy and to use. I contacted the customer service before buying to ask for some technical details, and the answer was nice and accurate.

The water softener works extremely well, and we are very happy with its installation and ongoing operation so far!

This water softener is the best I have had it is the monarch solo non electric,the water is really soft just what we wanted no programming just plumb in and works straight away. Very happy with our purchase. Would recommend to anyone.

Very easy to install, not too hard on the salt even though set high! 5th of this model fitted and no problems.

The water softener is extremely efficient, the water quality is much improved. Had a slight problem a couple of weeks after the softener was fitted but the company attended quickly and resolved the matter.

Good water filter

I inherited the water softener with the house and organised a service because I didn’t know its history. Just as well I did as the engineer patiently explained - the brine jet was all but blocked. The softener hadn’t been serviced in ten years. Thanks Monarch

Had my Monarch water softener for 6 years. I took out an extra 3 years parts when I bought it, so 10 years parts guarantee. Unfortunately it started to overflow and then using excess salt. Called Monarch service dept. who were very helpful. Tried several fixes , but no good. Arranged for Engineer to call, Paul. He called 1 day before to arrange time and dutifully arrived on time. I was not present, but my wife was and reported that Paul was very polite and tidy in his work. He repaired the small problem within an hour and it has been perfect again ever since. Cost was well within modern skilled engineers rates and I am very happy.
