Easy to communicate with prior to booking and booking process was straightforward. A great idea being collected from airport and taken to their depot which lowered hire charges. Mimi provided very good service at the depot and thoroughly checked the car with us. We hired a Premium Economy car and had no issues with its performance. Bodywork of the car had many stone chips and a few scratches. Would recommend Mint Rentals for a cheap, reliable car and very good customer service.

Great price, great service!

Really well priced and no large bond required when you select the full insurance option! A refreshing experience compared to the big companies. Only a short uber ride from the Auckland airport domestic terminal, however they also offer a free shuttle service within business hours. Very professional and friendly, will only be booking with Mint in future!

A Great Experience A clean, reliable vehicle at a great price from friendly, efficient staff. What more can you ask for.

My experience with Mint Rental was adequate. They are open until 10:30 pm which worked well since our flight didn’t land until 9:30 pm. I did feel like the returning the rental process could be improved however. We returned the car but then had to wait about 25 mins for a clerk/ attendant to inspect the car. The inspection process was literally 1 min and the clerk did not even check the gas fuel level. The clerks were cheerful though and were pleasant. Overall, this is a cheap place to get a run-of-the-mill car.
