Obviously not the flashiest newest car, but I didn’t need anything like that. The price was fantastic and the staff were great. I’d definitely use Mint again.

Friendly staff, offers quick airport pick up/drop off and cheap rates for a premium economy car and extra insurance. I got a Hyundai i30 hatchback with low kms. Think it may have been a 2016 model, it was spotless inside and only a few paint nicks if you really looked hard enough. Will use them again but wish they also had offices in the other major cities!

We were very happy with the service provided by Mint Rentals, the price was hard to beat and the car we got was perfect for a roadtrip as it fitted all of us and our luggage (lots of it) very comfortably. Also that they accept people who may be on their Provisional licenses was great as nearly every car rental provider only accept full license.

Mint car rentals is I believe a local NZ company a few years old. Their online presence looked good and their prices were lower than other options, so I rented from Mint. Mimi picked us up at the airport then got us set up with our rental. She also took care of everything at the end of our trip. The car was perfect, and the whole process was as easy and straightforward as possible. There seemed to be no small print or hidden surprises, just good folks. I definitely recommend Mint.

Happy with the service last weekend, really nice people and great pricing. But lost a star as the fuel tank wasn’t full when we picked it up- we assumed the gauge may have been a bit faulty, because we were told the tank was full on pick up (and signed a paper that we’d return it full). We took a pic, then when we filled up next, the gauge went all the way up. and we measured it was about 90kms short of full before.

It was Top Personal was Gold. Only zur Tank was three quaters. Not füll 3/4 ltr. Only. All öfters was ok. Kurt severin

Excellent, clear, quick service.

Great customer service. Came for us in 15min when we called, helped me retrieve my primary credit card that I left at coffee stand at airport - that was HUGE! Perfect car of Corolla that I requested was clean and full of petrol. Garnim only 2.95 day extra really helped. Drove 1800k in 10 days. Great price, best I could find. Car had a couple of paint nicks, was offered a different one, but this perfect for our NZ adventure.

No problems with airport pickup or dropoff. I was expecting slightly a used car; mine had one spot of minor damage but was otherwise very new. Friendly, easy service.
