Terrible Customer Experience
When I made a transaction of $126 on Nov 23, 2023 there was a duplicate charge appeared on my credit card. I called the customer support and wrote an email to get the refund but there was no response. I raised a dispute through my bank since there was no response for couple of weeks (at this time I wasn't aware that raising the dispute would block my SIM). On Dec 7, 20223, The SIM card was blocked and it stopped working but there was no update on my refund request yet . When I called the customer support they forced me to withdrew the dispute to get my number unblocked (stating that as an only option to get my refund back). It took a month to unblock my number and they started processing the refund in the first week of Jan. After several follow ups, I came to know that the partial refund was done in March for the current plan instead of duplicate charge. I again raised this concern with customer service and email support team. On March 13, email support team confirmed that the entire amount of $126 was refunded but it wasn't credited in my account. They have asked me to wait 5 to 7 business days to see the refund in my account. It's been a month now and there is no refund made. The frustrating part is I never got a response from anyone unless I made a follow up. I am literally tired of calling service team and writing emails since its been 6 months now from the date of my first request. Expecting a proper response from Lycamobile and provide the refund ASAP. If I don't get the response within next few weeks, I am thinking to take some legal steps for all the suffer and frustration I had to go through to get the refund.
