No even think of changing your provider to this

I port-in from 48 to this because I thought i the offer they had was better, the port-in never happened i called them approximately 20 times in 5 days, wrote emails and the never provided me a solution they just stated “they cannot do anything but follow up” AWFUL SERVICE, do not even think to change your provider to this. Highly not recommended it

Very Disappointed – No Service Abroad After Network Update

I'm very disappointed with Lycamobile Ireland. I'm currently on holiday abroad and my phone number has completely stopped working. I have no internet access, can’t make calls, and can’t send or receive texts. Before the recent network update, I never had any issues using my phone abroad – it always worked smoothly. Now I feel completely disconnected, and it’s frustrating and even unsafe not being able to contact anyone. There was no proper warning or help from Lyca, and I still don’t know what I need to do to fix this. I’m also unsure whether the service will automatically start working again once I return to Ireland. Poor service and lack of support. I expected better.

Extremely Disappointed After Recent Upgrade

After the recent upgrade, my mobile service has become almost unusable. I barely have internet access—around 90% of the time it's either extremely slow or completely unavailable. Before the upgrade, everything was working fine. On top of that, I sometimes don’t receive calls at all. Instead, I get a message saying I missed a call, even though my phone never rang. This is extremely frustrating, especially when expecting important calls. I emailed Lycamobile customer service two weeks ago, but haven’t received any response. The lack of support is unacceptable. Overall, the service has significantly declined since the upgrade, and it’s causing real inconvenience. I hope these issues are addressed urgently.

unreliable with little to no customer service

I have had recurring issues with Lyca for almost a year now. After the activation process didn´t work and I contacted them via phone (do expect to wait a solid 30min to get through to someone that may or may not be able to help you) they managed to at least get my plan up and running. However since then I have on multiple occasions lost complete connection (signal/internet etc.) for up to 48h in a row. My phone either shows "no sim" or "no signal" and no restart, turning the eSIM on/off or flight mode has helped. I have again tried to call to resolve this to no avail. This is my final straw and I will change provider now.

I had an issue in my Lycamobile eSIM

I had an issue in my Lycamobile eSIM, and reached out to the customer care service (CCS) in Ireland. It was a brilliant experience. Some folk attended the call and resolved the issue promptly. I would recommend Lycamobile if anyone wanted to choose a new network provider.

Don’t trust them

Lyca Mobile UK Review: Disappointing Experience with International Coverage Before Lyca say that you have to contact the uk depo.. I have and don’t care anymore .. you are all understand company name I wish I had checked reviews on Trustpilot before purchasing three SIM cards from Lyca Mobile UK. I was told they offered unlimited data, unlimited texts, and 100 minutes of free international calls, with coverage that included Egypt. However, this turned out to be completely false. Since arriving in Egypt, I’ve had no signal unless I’m connected to hotel WiFi. I’ve contacted Lyca Mobile customer service four times, but they’ve been unhelpful. Their response has been a generic apology, with no real effort to resolve the issue. Adding to the frustration, they keep sending me promotional messages when I connect to WiFi, pushing the same service I’ve already paid £75 for. As it stands, I feel scammed. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend Lyca Mobile for international use. If you’re planning to travel, avoid this service or risk being left without reliable connectivity. 23/10/24 Update: sent email to the message below.. let’s see if they respond and solve this issue. I can only see a full refund of £75 that I paid for the 3 SIM cards tobe only thing that can solve this issue and free data on top so I can get my family home with no dramas .. as we only have 4 more days left .. TBC …. I’ll update result if they do respond with solution 6/11/24 Update: had received email from complaint department saying they going to approve a refund to that now has been nearly 2 weeks and they are now ignoring my emails for an update.. starting to feel that they are not going to refund and this way they deal with there customers.. very frustrating and disappointing. 13/11/24 Update: it has now been since 23/10/24 that I had no response and no refund and they are ignoring all emails I have sent to the complaints department.. a multimillion pound company can’t even refund a customer that they promised and they think stick there head in the sand is the way to do it.. disgusting 24/11/24 Update: they contacted me due to all these reviews stating they were going to refund me in full… again .. that was 2 weeks ago and now ignoring my emails.. proof is in the pudding.. they are a multimillion scammers …
