deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

Lloyds is certifiably mad.

31/08/2024. As often happens, in my emails there are EIGHT IDENTICAL messages from Lloyds urging me to beware of scams. EIGHT. They're quite quite mad. As I have already told them - I called to complain the last time there was an influx - this is persecution. I have an extremely high IQ BUT, were I as dim as a dachshund, I wouldn't need more than one reminder a year.

Unbelievable

Unbelievable. I have spoken to four people in lloyds this week to try and get my mobile added to the securoty section instead of the landline which ceases next week. Today I spoke to Madya who was equal to all the others put together. Thanks Madya.

Terrible service

Tried to order some foreign currency online yesterday - cashback offer on Club current accounts made it just competitive. Tried to get the Euros delivered to "my local branch" as offered on the website, and apparently the bricks and mortar high street branch does not exist. "There are no branches nearby to that location, please try another address". Went into the branch today assuming this was a web glitch, but no, A very unhelpful assistant stated "because we are closed on a Wednesday, you can't have the currency delivered here" (this was a Friday for delivery on Monday). I would have to drive to another town to collect - again making them uncompetitive. The assistant could not wait to get rid of me, turning away as soon as I pointed out that the Post Office had better rates (if the web rate plus Club discount was not available in branch). Rude.

Setting up a bank account for a Child

I needed to get a young person to open up a bank account as the college they applied for had requested this. Having approached the Post Office and Nat West which were absolutely useless who stated that applications would have to be completed on line, I was beginning to feel hopeless, I could only imagine how the young person was feeling. Last resort, we approached Lloyds Bank in Westfields Stratford. The manager Tony B and his staff were so helpful, they guided the young person through the application and the young person walked out with a bank account. I cannot express my gratitude enough. What a fantastic team. Cannot praise them enough.

Don't try to set up Treasurer's account!

Our group applied for and have been accepted for Lloyd's treasurer's business account with online banking, what a complete disaster! Despite receiving all the necessary information and equipment, it is totally impossible to set up the online banking. It has been impossible to get the app to accept the memorable information on registration. Fortunately we did not deposit any money, so having consulted with my colleagues, we have decided to discontinue our attempts to set up this account. Please be warned!!

broken systems and poor customer support

applied and got approved for a credit card. they sent verification link but it didn't work. Was asked to go to branch. So I visited a branch at Bishopsgate. The branch lady said everything is perfect and id verification isn't required - even when I showed her the text message. Got back. And 30 mins later, they sent another text asking me to visit the branch for id verification!! I called customer service and they said they would need a least 15 mins to log the complaint. What a poor show! broken systems and poor customer support.

Lloyds bank in macelesfeild is just 💯 percent brilliant and the staff and the manager is so friendly and helpful and polite you couldn't get better or ask for more the staff there work hard they don't have ques like most banks we'll done to all the lovely staff at macelesfeild branch from gary

Worse customer service ever! I lost my bag with my phone and cards and they cannot due anything other than say they will send a new card in 7 working days is this for real!!!!!????
