deplorable treatment by Fraud team

deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

C
0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years…

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

Debit card blocked for no reason

I am abroad and for some reason my debit card has been blocked, spent 1 hour 39 mins on my mobile trying to sort out and being asked every security question under the sun only to find out they won't unblock it and I have to go into my branch, I explained I'm away for 2 months and said they can't do anything. I have a mobile app which is pointless as I explained to them and they wouldn't even explain why debit card is blocked, been with the bank 44 years 😐

Don't bother with Lloyds Bank

Don't bother using Lloyds Bank ever, save yourself a lot of unnecessary stress, which will be caused by them. I was forced to leave one star, which they really don't deserve!!!

Lloyds rubbish customer service

I opened a Cash ISA for my mother (as PoA) over 12 months ago, sent in a transfer request form twice, called multiple times (could not get through to the ISA team and there is no 'we will call you back' service, I even raised an official complaint. Did this get resolved or didI hear back about the account set up at all - no It is over a year, and to top it all, an account I can set up online I need to visit a branch to close - what a joke, appalling, Everyone knows Lloyds is stuck in the 20th century, hopefully they will wake up soon.

Best bank you can choose

I have had multiple bank accounts in my life but honestly Lloyds is by far my favourite. Especially since there last app update, it is so clear to understand everything and managing my money just becomes clear

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. I made a transfer to my Monzo account which they flagged as fraudulent. Made three calls and a branch visit to resolve the issue. Later over phone call they even blocked my card for no reason whatsoever. This is a complete harassment of customer. The initial call to the customer service on 14Sep was received by a person who without any reason completely blocked my internet banking and my deposit too.

Bunch of prats

I have an under 18s account because I am a literal minor, and all I wanted to do was transfer my boyfriend £3.74 to his account and I needed a password to do this. That’s not a problem of course, so I put in my password to my account and it said it was wrong, and I tried it again thinking maybe I typed it out wrong but no, after trying my password a few times I’ve been signed out… I know it’s not the wrong password though as it’s the one I use to get onto the stupid app anyway daily.. so I am now logged out and it wants me to reset my credentials all over again.. so i tried to do that and they said they would have to send a passcode to my dads number.. but this was his old number, so I tried to find somewhere else to type in a different number because his old phone is long gone now but it wouldn’t work.. so I am fuming and signed out of my bank over £3.74. Absolute tossers your bank is a joke, and to do this to a minor??

pointless messages

Come on LLoyds, you send me an email that I have a message, so at great lengths as always a log in. Wow I have a statement, ffs you could have said that in an email. You value your customer's time at zero. We have busy lives, you know.

Worst banking experience in my life.

Wish I'd checked the reviews before switching banks. I'm currently working away (approximately 5 hours from home) and they've decided to block my card and won't unblock it despite me passing all the security checks and having access to my banking app. Apparently I have to perform a biometric check, which I'm unable to do unless I drive 5 hours back home to get my passport. They have also frozen my account so I can transfer money elsewhere to another account. Essentially my money is now being withheld from me. *Update* After several phone calls and a 43 minute stint on hold, I manage to speak with advisors who were as useful as a chocolate fire guard, I managed to go through the biometric security check, only for it to fail several times on the facial recognition step. So now my account is completely locked leaving my only option, to go in to a branch. The banks opening times are 9am to 4pm, which, much like their call handlers, is completely useless. Assuming you work that is. I work 12 hour shifts and I can't leave site during this time which now means I have to use my credit card for everything for the next 4 days and cannot make the purchase I need to nor send my partner money for the food shopping. I honestly cannot believe a bank can legally widthold your money like this. On top of the the app is terrible compared to competitors. I'll be switching banks as soon as possible.
