Only positives about KMR.

I have purchased a fair amount of gear from KMR over many years. The staff seem to be passionate about recording gear and seem willing to pass their expertise on to you, not merely to make a sale but so you get what you want and need. It seems as if they take a long term view and once you build a sense of trust with them there seems to be nothing they won't do to help you. Recently they took back an item I had just bought because I thought it was broken, but it was me who had missed a tiny switch, and it was working perfectly. Three days later having arranged pick up, and getting their technical staff to check it, it is back with me. I could not believe the graciousness with which I was told it was a thing easily done, and this said only to assuage my embarrassment. Will I use them again, Most definitely!

Keeping the studio running in times of need

We had a Barefoot MM27 speaker fail on us down at the studio last week. Within 2 hours KMR Had sent us a loan set via courier to keep the studio up and running and within a few days our faulty speaker was repaired and returned to us. We continue to use KMR as the go to company for all our audio equipment purchases and have always been treated great and with fair pricing. Many thanks for getting us out of this squeeze. I bought Maschine MK3 recently and the price was quite high compared to other online music shops. I contacted them, but they would not refund the additional amount spent. I would not purchase anything from KMR audio anymore. Why would I unnecessarily spend the hard earned money?

Trusted, Professional and Competitive

Writing and mixing music over the years, I've tended to buy equipment and software online, based soley on online research. However this time, I wanted to hear for myself what was going to be an expensive purchase. So, I contacted KMR and Stefan arranged for me to test out the product at their store in Whetstone, London. When I arrived, I was given all the help I needed from a guy called James and as much time as I needed, without any sales pressure. I ordered the product but unfortunately it took a lot longer to arrive than first expected. This was not KMR's fault but the company who made the product. Indeed, the product was out of stock for a number of months across the whole of the UK. Despite this, Stefan kept in regular contact with me and even tried to help me, offering multiple temporary solutions until the item arrived. Stefan is a real gentleman and a trusted professional. KMR has both a physical store and an online store, which I trust and is very competitively based. I will continue to buy from KMR in the future because the creative industry needs trusted physical stores to test what could be an expensive piece of equipment. Thank you Stefan, James and KMR.

Great service! I was slightly nervous about buying an expensive instrument online so phoned up. The response was cheery, helpful and highly professional. I paid over the phone and the item arrived the next day. A good price too. I'd happily use this shop again.

Knowledgeable, helpful, good service

Meant to write a review a while back but forgot - bought a waldorf Quantum from them back in 2021 - it had problems with the screen - communication was good, and they solved the problem - they really do seem to (a) know a lot about music gear; (b) care about their customers - i'd happily use them again and recommend them to others

TRUST without reserve

I have been using KMR for most of my high-end purchases. They have competetive prices, an outstanding customer service and their shipping has always been careful, diligent and very, very fast. They are surely my go-to audio shop and I highly recommend them! I have been dealing with Nick and Stefane lately. They are serious, knowledgeable, fun and informal. Always a great experience.

Excellent Sales Experience

Was looking into buying a universal audio Apollo Twin over the past few months and I had ended up purchasing one from a different company only to find out that I bought the wrong one. I then found KMR Audio and placed an order with them. They swiftly got back to be to let me know that they actually didn't have any left in stock but will order more and have one shipped out asap. I have been getting regular updates from Callum, one of their sales administrators. Callum has been amazing at keeping me in the loop and giving me loads of updates on where they were at with getting my Apollo in and shipped out to me. I am now waiting for it to arrive which should be in the next few days. I'd like to commend Callum for his excellent customer service and attentiveness. I've really felt like my order was being constantly thought of and cared for which is rare these days. Thank you Callum, you're a credit to KMR audio and I will remember this experience when I am next looking into buying audio equipment.

Great purchase experience

Contacted the team at KMR about Roger Mayer 500 series units and they were super helpful from the get go, and no issues that I needed international shipping. Got me a personalised purchase link and within a week I had my 500 series units which sound amazing, recommend the team at KMR extremely highly and will definitely buy from KMR again.

Highly Recommend KMR Audio

I have been using KMR audio for my Pro Tools software for over the last three years. Everyone who works there is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. I recently had to update my Pro Tools perpetual license and unfortunately I had some issues with regards to installing it. I spoke with Stefan Pope who is a Pro Tools expert at KMR and he dealt with my issue swiftly and pointed me in the right direction along with giving me the correct advice. Everything was resolved within twenty four hours and my studio is now fully back up and running. I highly recommend them for any advice for any technical music needs.

KMR are just consistent. Shame its at being bad.

KMR are consistent at reminding me why I always should shop elsewhere and stop giving them second chances. As with every order I've placed, once you've handed the money over, the flippant attitude arises. They're less than helpful and even less willing to chase manufacturers to find out why the item isn't on its way and products are never dispatched with any urgency. 10 weeks later, 2 promised delivery dates passed and still can't provide a firm shipping date because they simply can't be bothered to chase anything up.
