I bought some stuff from Joannes.com and they charge my account twice because they didn’t have the item, I’m never buying from them again.

I've ordered some diamond dotz from them online and had shipped to my home. My items arrived quickly and in good shape. Used online coupons and got really good deals my purchases.
Horrible online experience! When an item says it is in stock, it should be in stock. Many times I order in stock items only to find out days later it is not in stock or my whole order needed to be cancelled. Complete waste of time. Last straw: I ordered a sewing table online and when it came in the mail it was a big bolt of cotton fabric in the box...No sewing table insight! Is no one checking the online orders before they ship out? The whole online and website is a complete joke. I will never order online through them ever again. Worst company to do business with online! Buyers stay away.
Let me preface by saying I never really shop here. I went to return a set of needles that was $80 the clerk told me they did not have a enough cash in the till so she gave me a card for store credit. I didn't really have time to object before she swiped it and now I have $80 in UNWANTED store credit, they basically stole my money. I will never recommend this place
PEOPLE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE!!!! If I could give this site ZERO stars I would. I ordered yarn from the online site when the store was closed during the pandemic. Got the yarn. Fine. Looked on my online banking site. TOTALLY NOT FINE. Someone at jo Ann's center STOLE my banking info and literally bought something at Best Buy for $400!!!!!! (Completely diff state from me). So glad the bank reimbursed me but DAMN the store did NOTHING. I sent them an e mail and no satisfaction. It deff was someone there because I had not once used my card for anything AT ALL. I pay cash becuz two years ago this happened at a gas station. But ordering on line? How can I avoid it? This is the ONLY place I ordered ANYTHING from. They have thieves working for them AND STEALING FROM THE CUSTOMER. I'm sure they could have found out who this thief was but chose to ignore it. WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS SITE EVER AGAIN!! (I even offered to send them printed bank statements with critical info blocked out of course. That also had no response.)
Online shopping and curbside pick up is not fair. If you use curbside pick up coupons are much better. Those of us with disabilities sometimes have to rely on others to drive us places.. And shipping is high. Just not really happy with JoAnns lately.
I had found a locket with felt diffuser charm. Then had gone back and picked out some fabric. While I was having it cut. I looked at the locket and noticed the felt piece was missing. I said oh well I still want it. The guy cutting said anything damaged is 75% off. By the time I got to check out they already knew about it. He had called. I asked his name it was Brett at the South Tunnel Road in Asheville, NC. Thankyou!
The lady cutting the fabric. I don’t know if she’s popular or people know what to expect from her - Always seems loud - agitated - getting smart with someone ? This is my major problem though - you basically take a few dollars off every regular price item in store and then put out coupons saying I can use a %25 or %40 of regular price item but you don’t want to honor it! Come up with some bull crap about a cut of fabric blah blah blah...Don’t know who’s worse of trying to mislead public that your getting a good deal (Joanne Fabric or Michaels) . It’s really bad. I think I’m done with both stores. Spent a lot of money in both stores and just feeling agitated about coupon ordeal
Terrible online service!! I ordered 10 items for a outdoor project and only received 3 of the 10 items. The rest was cancelled because of inventory issues. Not to mention the 3 items all shipped separately and took forever to arrive. Customer service is non existent. I’m doing my review on here because when I tried to leave a negative review on Joann website they say my review has been moderated and won’t post it. So basically they cherry pick their reviews. Awful company!! Stay away!!
I placed an online order for 16 yards of a particular fabric that they showed as being in stock. Within minutes of completing the order they sent me an email claiming that they only had 4 yards of the fabric I ordered. I IMMEDIATELY sent an email back telling them that I cannot possibly complete my project unless I have the full yardage so please cancel my order and refund my money. THREE DAYS later they sent me an email stating that it was too late to cancel the "partial" order. I guess they figured I would have to make due with 75% less than the needed fabric. Unacceptable. I will never do business with them again.
The bad reviews are right! Wish I had read the reviews before ordering. Had previous good experience in store. Ordered bias seam binding twice on line and checked out and paid for items showing in stock. A day later we were notified that almost all the bindings ordered were removed and would not be shipped. This company can not be trusted. Will not order from them again.
Recently I ordered a sewing machine in stock online at the store website, it asked me to register a new account and I did so. I promptly got an order confirmation and while confirming my order they also let me open a subscription base membership to their online 'sewing club' free trial for 60 days and after 60 days I am free to cancel my membership and subscription. I received an email notification next day around 3 pm, stating my order is cancelled due to stock unavailable. I thought what the heck, when ordering they should have said so, after checking may other items, they all had stocks but when ordered the next day they said unavailable due to stock. So Is this a deceiving practice of customers to order and join their paid expensive membership, once your order cancelled but you subscription membership will be open and they will charge your card at the end of the trail period, if you are not aware of the expiry date and once ordered the annual subscription money will not be returned back. This is a deceiving and shady practice in my opinion.

Horrible experience. I will never order online from Joann ever again. I only got a small part of my order so I contacted customer support (online, I could not get someone to talk to) They said they would investigate it but haven't heard back even after I had sent repeated emails. My credit card has already been charged and I asked them just to give me a refund for the items that I didn't get. Crickets---no response!
Ordered online, only received 2 of my 3 items. Getting a refund was a hassle. To get my refund I had to reverse a portion of the charge with the bank since Joann's wasn't responding.
I can't believe the bad reviews? I found beautiful hanging baskets for my home, was impressed with the price and more impressed with the baskets when I got them the next day! I am so glad found this site. I would certainly give them another try. My experience has been wonderful. I ordered craft supplies, indoor decor. Please try again, I am hooked. The prices are great.
DON'T ORDER ONLINE!!! I ordered the Chicago Cubs Cotton Fabric Glitter, however I did NOT receive it. I received an email SEVERAL DAYS after placing my order stating it was no longer in stock. I understand businesses taking a bit longer to package & ship items right now due to Covid-19. But I feel like a lot of businesses are using this as a/an reason/excuse to delay shipments to customers and therefore this item was no longer in stock when it FINALLY came time to ship. If it was in stock when I placed my order, it should have been "reserved" for me, so to speak. This is very deceptive when ordering from JoAnn's.

Customer service never communicated with us when our shipment was damaged during transport. We only received 1 of 2 boxes. It's been over 1 month and we still haven't received the second box. The only info we have is by tracking through Fed Ex.
Joanns is not protecting the public from COVID 19!!! Masks are optional for employees. I emailed the corporate office and they confirmed that is correct. Masks are optional for their employees. 2 out of 4 employees wore masks in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on June 8, 2020. I emailed the corporate office and they confirmed the policy.
