The crates always have unique quality items that my family & I are eager to try. Rarely have I been disappointed, but even then it was because of personal taste rather than poor item.
I love the snack crate. There are plenty of desserts and snacks to try and there is a lot of variety from month to month. I especially like the drink that’s included. It’s always something fun and different than anything you can buy here in the states.
Had JapanCrate from Jan 2023 to July 2023 and they charge the standard $50 premium for their boxes even though they’re giving you maybe $30 worth of snacks. They try to make up the remaining $20 in either a lottery you may win (which I doubt anyone actually wins lmao) or a $0.25 toy. To make matters worse they try to have a monthly theme but use many repetitive snacks over the months. They always include a cotton candy, grape gum, a few KitKats, some kind of seafood flavored chips or crackers, chocolate, and hard candy. Absolutely nothing special. One month for the drink they included an alcoholic drink for the drink that month. What’s wrong with you guys? When it comes to shipping they advertise 1-5 business days to ship out. Some months it took 20+ business days to get the crate to UPS then another 3 or 4 days to deliver. Absolutely unacceptable and I had to drop my subscription and I’m leaving bad reviews on every site.
Japan crate is such an amazing company it's always so cool to try other cultures food that you're not otherwise able to get
I am excited about learning more about Japanese culture. And what better way to accomplish this than through sweets? Also, I am a fan of Tokidoko, and this new collaboration caught my eye!
My experience is great with Japan crate! All the snacks are lovely. I just wish there were more drinks and candy.
Unfortunately I was not able to receive June’s crate and was not the best experience. However Japan Crate did their best to make everything right. Hopefully I will be able try again soon with a much better experience.
I purchase snack box with Japan Crate last January, and while their email support was top-notch, I encountered delays with my delivery. The prompt and helpful responses from their support team were commendable, but the late arrival of my order was disappointing. Improving their delivery process would greatly enhance the overall customer experience. Hopeful for better service in the future.
My children and I look forward to our Japan Crate every month. There is always a great assortment of Japanese snacks in every box: some are full size, some are sample size, some are sweet, some are savoury, and there is always a drink and a "craft snack" to have fun with. Japan Crate always keeps us updated with friendly emails about the status of our account and any changes to pricing and shipping status. 本当にありがとうございます!

Ordene 2 veces, la primera vez no me actualizaron mi pedido en casi un mes hasta que los contacte y me hicieron una devolución sin ningún tipo de explicación (Sin el coste de envió), publique esta reseña y se pusieron en contacto, me devolvieron el costo de envió y me invitaron a probar el producto de nuevo, hice el segundo pedido en Julio y paso exactamente lo mismo, tuve que contactarlos después de un mes para obtener de respuesta que el paquete había sido devuelto a su almacén, pero nunca me notificaron y cuando intentaron volverlo a enviar tardaron 1 semana en decirme que ya no tenían existencias del paquete de ese mes así que solo podía cancelarlo y volverlo a pedir (Ni siquiera un intento de enviar de otro mes en su lugar). No lo recomiendo si eres de México Pd: Le daría 0 estrellas si pudiera por la perdida de tiempo y la horrible experiencia
Shipping information takes too long to get. I ordered 1.5 and my package hasnt shipped yet. I see that others getting their boxes, whats taking so long?
Shipping is slow and they don't send you updated emails about your order.

It’s been a few years since I was subscribed to Japan Crate and I am hoping it is as amazing as it was last time!
Overall, these crates are just fantastic! I've been receiving them for many years. The selection and variety of products is also fantastic. It would be nice that so my favorite products, would be available to purchase. The cherry blossom box this year with a little underwhelming compared to the past years. But the products are still delicious and fun. My six-year-old enjoys going through the boxes with me as well and try new things
