As a small company with just a few part-time employees, we have always steered clear of using employment agency sites such as Indeed, as we always expected they would push us to spend money we just don’t have. However, this time we decided to give Indeed a go and I have to say I’m quite impressed, placing the add was easy and didn’t cost a thing and although there was an option to pay to promote the Job but we decided to stick with the free option and even then, we had 80 applicants in 48 hours. Not all of these were of good quality, but we were able to pull together a shortlist of 10 very promising candidates and ended up hiring one of them. All in all, a very smooth process. The only negative is that Indeed decided it needed to re-authenticate our account when we were right in the middle of going through the application, which delayed things by 24 hours

Our company is officially registered in the United Kingdom and has been successfully operating in 35 countries for several years. Recently, we posted a new vacancy on Indeed UK, written in full compliance with our needs and UK employment law. At first, Indeed offered to “promote” our listing, took the payment, and applications started to come in. However, just two days later, our account was blocked with vague demands to “prove that we are a real company.” This was absurd, considering that the UK Companies House register is public, and my name as the company director can be easily verified in official records. We provided all required documents, including a Certificate of Good Standing. Despite Indeed’s stated 48-hour review timeframe (and confirmation of this in their own email), the process dragged on for an entire week. Another week was wasted on back-and-forth emails, trying to get clear answers to simple, logical questions. The result: 1. The entire period of paid urgent advertising was lost. 2. Staff hired to process applications sat idle for two weeks. 3. Direct financial losses amounted to £1,500. Now, Indeed refuses to issue a refund, claiming “permanent account suspension,” and provides no reasonable explanation beyond saying that the job post was “incorrectly written.” I must stress: employers are solely responsible for compliance with employment law, not a private US-based platform. In my view, Indeed’s actions amount to exploitation of their market position and a total disregard for client interests. My rating — the lowest possible. I strongly advise against using their services.

Absolutely the worst phone app on the market. It’s as if they are trying to see how inconvenient they can make searching for jobs.

Changing your location leads to errors. The development and testing team did a horrible job with this application.

I advertised a senior position with Indeed. Unfortunately, I live and my business operates out of Cyprus, an EU country. However, Cyprus is not listed in the drop-down menu of countries when Indeed wants to verify you are who you are! I have written to Indeed, biut of course, their customer service is a waste of time. So now I have candidates on their site which I cannot contact, because someone at Indeed, does not know that Cyprus is a country.....

Indeed dont know whats going on their platforms. Yeah its easy to find a job but 90% of the time you will come back looking after the employer scams the life after you lol. Most jobs there are like plastic surgery looks good but nothing like the real thing. If your looking for longterm work then be careful on indeed. The quicker they are the quick you go

Their website is now demanding a sign in for more than one page of jobs. The sign in presents you with what their 'unintelligence bot' thinks you might be interested in. Its not clear how you change this to a personally controlled search. It should not be difficult to search for a job on a job search site. Too much work for a poor return

Login System is buggy sometimes. Doesnt alow to login so i had to switch to Sign in via Apple. Many ghost jobs and jobs from time work agencies etc. Searching options also dont help because almost all listings dont use the pre designated tags but rather write important information in the text like qualifications etc. Some also redirect to a seperate job platform similar to indeed or their own which is really uncomfortable for me the user. Sadly has by far the most job listings in my area but the UX is bad and the quality of the job listings are likewise.

Absolutely pointless.

Indeed now REQUIRING you hand over your private mobile number to them. No option not to do this. It is under the guise of "protection". They are selling peoples' information. Their small print below.... so many people complaining about spam/fraudulent calls AFTER handing their number to INDEED!! By adding your phone number and selecting Verify, you agree to receive calls and texts (including pre-recorded or artificial calls) from Indeed on the phone number provided for i) verification purposes and ii) as specified in your Communication settings.

So idk if its indeed or the company i applied for butvthey had a dsp position open for companionship/patient care. It stayed that you would be just hanging out with them, doing errands, writting logs, let them live independently, medication reminders. NO help with hygiene, no diaper changes, maybe stand by the shower and make sure they dont fall, just people that needed a little help cooking cleaning etc. No experience needed, paid training...But i go to the interview and its a whole different thing. Basically needed all these certificates, experience with hoists, giving shots, all this medical stuff. Not just hanging out with them. Also when i look up non cdl driver jobs always class a jobs pop up. Annoying.

Used to be the best. No one even views your application these days. It has lost its punch. You should make it clear that employers should at least acknowledge application after we take the time to apply and write cover letter.

Lato azienda: piattaforma vomitevole, crash continui, difficilissimo postare un'offerta di lavoro. Una volta riusciti nell'impresa, viene spesso cancellata senza motivo. Pure il mio account aziendale è scomparso da un giorno all'altro. Assistenza inesistente.

Indeed's asking for too much personal information. It was never going to work from the beginning, but they just kept wasting my time. They keep trying to collect corporate and personal information. I have no idea what they plan to do with it… I strongly suspect it’s 100% a scam.
