Received another delivery today for our ongoing building works from the branch in March. Great customer service and prompt delivery. Today must have been my lucky day as Chris was my delivery driver!! What a ray of sunshine!

Our experience of the Wellingborough branch is a great example of good old fashioned customer service. Over the course of two visits we were helped to navigate the complexity of choosing slabs for our patio. We had driven a long way to visit this branch because of their patio displays (we changed our mind when we saw slabs in situ). Even when it became clear that the distances involved would take us to a different branch, we were given great service. Our two main contacts were Karen and Shaun - but others helped with moving slabs for us etc. Thank you all.

We have used the Sawbridgeworth branch for many years and once again they have given us excellent customer service, David helped us today and was fantastic! Shame the Harlow branch isn’t up to the same high standards of customer care. Would recommend Sawbridgeworth branch to anyone thank you

We ordered over £4,500.00 of plaster from Buildbase (Huws Gray) Scunthorpe in September 2022. The delivery arrived with 17 bags damaged. We contacted Huws Gray immediately to complain and ask for replacement bags. We have now been waiting now nearly 6 months for initially replacement to the 17 bags and more recently refund for the damaged bags. We have been fobbed off by them stating that they need to get the refund from Tarmac their supplier. We have had an agent from Huws Gray visit us to verify the 17 damaged bags. We have sent photos, emails, and receipts to both Huws Gray and Tarmac and still no refund. They don't have a customer service department. Have to say I am not impressed by the way I have been treated. I am owed £502 for this plaster and can't seem to get anyone to authorise this refund.

Been using these guys in the March branch for years, always great service and quick delivery. Competitive too, my advice though always call first to get the best price! Drivers amongst the best in business, always helpful and very skilled - If you're lucky you'll get Chris - he's laser focused and with pinpoint precision!

Dealt with branch in March in Cambridgeshire. Super easy to deal with, got quote, sent order, next day goods arrived at the council. Got a call from the driver, saying he was outside. Chris was his name, super helpful and dropped the pallet just where I wanted it. Perfect service

Many thanks for my delivery today from the Caernarfon , Gwynedd branch in north wales . It’s a shame the driver didn’t ring the door bell or knock the door and help me unload the pallet which he could of then taken back to the yard with him along with the 2 split pieces of feather edge board and one other piece with a chunk missing out of it on the good edge . The spilt bags of sand I’ve got away with without any loss. Next time perhaps the driver will leave his playground behaviour back at the yard as I don’t like the little family gatherings of stalkers and trolls by me on a delivery day putting on some sad circus show ?. Some Private sick welsh joke only the sick welsh in the gang / little cult understand in glanrhyd , dinas . If you can do all the above and deliver quality goods next time which the customer expects delivered after payment and not damaged like I received today then I’ll give you 5 ⭐️ .

Supposed to be trade price, so why is B&Q almost half the price

Very poor service. After sales don’t exist. Many items missing off my kitchen, it’s left unfinished for 2 years. Still waiting for items that have been promised.promised and promised. Very disappointed, very dishonest people. Manager and area manager not helpful at all. All you get is aright mate. When asking to rectify problems with miss sold faulty goods. Will not be going to showroom or huws gray again👍

Used Jen Wilding in the kitchen department to plan and arrange installation of our kitchen. She was brilliant from start to finish. Proper personal customer service. Very experienced in measurement and what would go where! Attended delivery to ensure everything was ok and marked each item for installation against a plan for ease of installation. If you're thinking of getting a kitchen go to Huws Gray you'll be in safe hands.

Ordered some difficult parts to source for our kitchen cupboards. Jen not only managed to source them with the original manufacturer but order them for delivery straight too us. Was excellent service, could not fault in any way.

The delivery driver, Chris, was exceptionally helpful in where he dropped the 1 tonne bags of gravel so making my work easier. Well done Huws Gray.

Needed some ply. The lads got it for me then cut to size so its fitted in the car. Very helpful thru out. Inside reception again very friendly & polite. On top of this the price was very good. Highly recomend this company. (Skinner Lane, Leeds Branch)
