I booked a portable a/c online and then to pick it up as quoted. Got to the HSS depot and was told that they didn’t have any a/c units and that this often happened with online orders. Very boring!

Book via your local store, not online! If booking online, they don't respond to emails, there is no phone number to contact, they don't let you know which store is delivering from in the email confirmations. Delivery driver was terrible, damaged our gate and I got extra invoices for delayed collection but it was their fault it wasn't collected. I replied to emails, but no response. Then they continued to chase for extra payment. Local store says I have to speak to credit control at HSS Pro but there's no phone number!

Easy ordering. I had to change the delivery date but this was no problem. Excellent customer service.

Very competitive price . However found it difficult to log in to my account to place order. Although delivery date confirmed on placing order no time window provided hence 3 star.

I have never used this company but I shall do in the future. Easy website, great delivery service and the price was very good

The product was delivered nice and early with a very helpful driver and I had no problems with the equipment. There was a lot of confusion when I tried to extend the booking. I was sent a link to add my CVV number from my card which rejected the payment. I called my bank and they said HSS had rejected it. I called HSS and they told me to call my bank. The error message said present your ID at the local branch, which the person on the phone said I need to do, clearly this was wrong. After being given the wrong phone number by the national helpline line I was then given a premium rate number to call. Basically the people on the phone don’t know. I had paid on Apple Pay originally so when the link was asking for my CVV number it that wasn’t on my account. I managed to work it out and pay the extended period on Apple Pay.

Ordered soil on line. Was delivered quickly and craned onto drive. Nice soil.

On my current project I’ve been using HSS for my high level access needs. The on site manager John has been great. He is very polite and friendly, also strives to get you the best and quickest service he can and take all the hassle out of hiring. He also has a wealth of knowledge about tools and equipment. All round 5* service from John.
