The chocolate is no longer the same quality: it tastes cheap but at a luxury price. Unlikely to buy again. It seems sadly you can't have quality and chase a large market share.

4 packets of my velvetiser sachets the assorted packets have a best by date of next month as a pensioner living alone it is a lot to use up. chocolate itself is first class

Repeat order, arrived as promised, delivered by Amazon. As always, everything just as it should be. Looking forward to opening our box of treats!
I was advised by a weird metallic voice that delivery was on its way ant 12 midday. Did not arrive until 7.40 pm. Another weird call to say it had been delivered. I don' t appreciate this kind of service. Other deliveries give two hourly slots. Seriously considering cancelling regular order.
Please do not use Amazon for deliveries. They leave packages outside in sunshine and do not put notes through letterboxes. You don’t even know you have to hunt round the garden unless you happen to check email.
Always a perfect delivery service, excellent quality chocolate drink made in velvetiser. Definitely recommend. I've got mine on subscription so never run out.
It was delivered to the wrong address despite me leaving instructions. I live at 58 and it was delivered to 56 ? Can they not tell the difference?

I needed a present for a friend and chose the “selector” version where I received 3 lots of 6 chocolates in a specially packaged tray. They were wrapped carefully, delivered on time and I was kept informed of what was happening along the way. I can’t comment on the chocolates as they are for a friend but they look awesome.
Called in to the Harrogate shop cafe to try out the new banoffee hot chocolate. Wow. Simply perfection in a mug! Poppy was so cheerful & enthusiastic about their product range and pure ingredients. I got a hazelnut choc chip shortbread to go with it. What a paring! My new addictions 😋
Delivery company left the box of Chocolates in direct sunlight. Love the HC product but if they are melted it becomes a waste of money
Generally good product, with prompt delivery. However it was a gift, and I couldn't identify where to send a message. Have since found it, but why is it not part of checking out process instead of something you have to preselect?
Such a lovely visit to Hotel Chocolat on Albert St Nottingham. Very helpful staff who suggested best options to spend my birthday voucher! Great offers available and the 10 shortbread biscuits for £10 was an offer I could not resist!! Treated myself to the delicious mango and raspberry ice cream sundae as well which was perfect for the hot sunny day. I was made welcome and left to make my choices. Thank you!

Sadly this purchasing experience was frustrating. I don't need numerous emails saying we've got it it's on its way instead of just one message informing me it's arrived at my local branch. Due to misleading info I took an unnecessary trip. Best I just buy directly from the shop in future.

I placed my order for chocolates from Australia as a birthday gift for my daughter. The ordering process was relatively straightforward although it was initially difficult to input two different addresses. Delivery was on the day specified, tracking was accurate, and the chocolates are magnificent!
I purchased a Hotel Chocolate Easter Egg for my granddaughter back in March and mailed it to the USA. The parcel hit a block at the US customs and was returned to me a month and a half later. When I was examining the Easter Egg on its return, I was horrified to see that it was assembled with no protective packaging like cellophane. You could just get to the chocolate inside by taking it apart and then reassembling it. I can see that the figurines inside the egg are manhandled and look slimy. I have no choice but to bin £34 worth of chocolate because of Hotel Chocolate's sheer incompetence in doing decent packaging. Whether it's legal to sell food products without proper protection, I can't tell
Their gift wrap and bags make their delicious chocolates even more special! I ordered some for a friend's birthday and was really impressed with their gift wrapping and gift tag (which are free!) Everything was beautifully presented in the gift bag I had added to my order and made it a really lovely gift. The delivery was very quick too. Very happy!
I visited the Harrogate store last month as I needed a few gifts for friends for Easter - Friends who are very particular with their tastes. I was assisted by Sophie who took her time to make sure I purchased the perfect products- Her assistance resulted in choices that were absolutely perfect for each individual. I purchased varieties that I would never have previously considered that my friends were over the moon with. Sophie was friendly, helpful and extemely knowledgeable professional- A real asset to the store.
