I knew what I wanted...
I knew what I wanted, and had some specific and unique criteria that I was looking for in my BMW. Ali was very prompt, professional, and searched far and wide to locate a vehicle that we were able to do a deal on.
Hilton Car Supermarket has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

Great Dealership Experience
Worst garage I have ever dealt with. The customer service is shocking, my car broke down within 3 weeks of having it and ended up being off the road for 6 weeks, they only gave me a courtesy car when I expressed I have disabled children and was having time off work and school because we had no transport. Would never purchase a car here again. AVOID.
Service of viewing a car, dealing with Raqib in sales was faultless. The issue is all about the aftersales. When I test drove the vehicle it had a flat tyre which I was assured would be fixed if I purchased the car. I purchased the car and a day later the tyre sensor warning came on! The company kindly offered me £70 towards a new one and all I had to do is email the aftersales team with my invoice. I sent 3 emails over the span of two weeks and finally got a reply saying it will be paid back the next day and one week later with 2 more emails sent - NOTHING. No reply, no money back. They sold me a car knowing there was a fault, they convinced me they would reimburse me and have decided to ignore my emails. Not impressed at all

If i could leave less than one star i would. Arranged a viewing with a customer service agent at 1:30 he was on a test drive (fair enough) so waited 30 mins for him to get back. He then came back showed me where the car I was looking at and gave me the keys I told him it wasn’t any good due to the seats begin ripped that weren’t shown in pics on advert, I asked if there was anything similar he could show me he just sat me on a computer and told me to see if there’s anything, He then left me for two mins and took another family out on a test drive and told me to keep looking till he got back!!
DO NOT BUY CAR SH21NFO!!! If I could give zero starts I would. We bought car SH21NFO. It needed 10k worth of work and this still sold it to me niece… Engine light come on, so she took it her mechanic to find out the car needed a new engine. It had been in a crash so underneath it was what they called ‘done’. Oil leaking in to the engine, it could have blown at any minute. Hilton cars knew all of this as remember they ‘inspect all cars before sale’ well stevie wonder must of inspected this one. I have the receipt here for £10,000 worth of repairs. Here is the best part, they’ve put it back on the market after us giving it back!!! Waiting to scam someone else. Lost for words…. Still waiting on our deposit back aswell.. 14 days later.
I bought a car from Hilton in Milton Keynes recently and since then regret ever stepping foot in this awful place. The car is a 2019 reg car, with 47,000 miles on the clock. I purchased it as I wanted a newer, more reliable car. How wrong I was. Within 2 months, we noticed the gears were sticking and realised the air con didn’t work (and never did). I tried to get a diagnosis from local garages, but all I spoke to said they didn’t deal with warranty companies. The whole process of dealing with Warranties2000 is a nightmare and it’s not worth the paper it's written on. Within a week of these enquiries the fourth gear completely failed, so we couldn’t drive it. To fix the car, it was in a garage for over 4 weeks (as this was the only one that would deal with the warranty company). The warranty company then rejected the claim, stating it was wear and tear. Sorry, wear and tear on a gearbox, on a car with just over 50,000 miles on the clock? It cost me £2387 to fix the gearbox, as well as having to pay for a hire car while I was without my car. To make matters worse, the day I got the car back it went in for its overdue MOT and also an air conditioning service to see if that would fix the air con issue (as advised by Hilton). The MOT failed and cost a further £550 to fix a leaking exhaust and a faulty wiper blade. We were also advised the air con issue was down to a faulty compressor, that would need replacing at a cost of circa £600. So, we’ve spent over £3000 to date to make our ‘new’ car legally roadworthy. This is a third of the value of the whole car. AND we still have an outstanding issue with the air con. When we approached Hilton about all of this, they were rude and uninterested entirely. Their lack of aftersales care is shocking, and we have no choice now but to take them to court as our car is not fit for purpose. I strongly urge people not to buy from Hilton, they clearly do no tests or checks on their vehicles and they will literally do everything they can to worm their way out of any liability. EDIT: I have heard nothing from Hilton six days later, despite their response below. I just don't believe anyone is even looking into this.
200% recommended Sales manager and sales staff Very friendly ..
If I could give 0 stars, I would. We saw an advert for a car on Autotrader and drove to Milton Keynes to view the car. We were told by Zayn that the car wasn’t ‘ready’ and needed to be prepared and we wouldn’t be able to see it the same day. He explained that we could reserve the car and pay a £49 refundable deposit and took us over to some computers to put my details in, I wish I never did this. Not only were previous customers (including names & email addresses) saved on the computer as I was typing my name in, which is a HUGE GDPR issue. I then had to go back through this process to delete my details from the computer and ensure they were not saved. When we told a member of staff this, they didn’t seem to be bothered. The service we received from Zayn was quite honestly unprofessional, once I’d put the details he just walked off from us. He’d previously agreed the car would be ready by Monday for us to view but didn’t specify a time or seem particularly bothered or interested about giving us a good service. We then spoke to Riley (who was great) about the issues we had and throughout the process he had showed care and professionalism and was a lot clearer and tried to meet our needs before we left the showroom. On reflection, I decided to do some research and looked at reviews on trust pilot where I saw 26% of reviews were 1*. This rang alarm bells, especially after the poor experience we already had and many of the reviews saying the cars they purchased were faulty which we cannot risk with our first baby on the way. This made up my mind instantly and I called for a refund to be processed. Since Monday, I’ve had incessant DAILY text messages from someone at the dealership, some useful updates, other messages asking if I would like to explore other cars. Even after we asked for the refund to be processed I was still getting messages and phone calls which shows the communication even between colleagues is poor until I replied and explained the situation. When we called to ask for our refund to be processed we were told that there would be no written confirmation because salespeople didn’t have access to an email address? We were also told by multiple people that they couldn’t call us back to confirm it’s done and we had to. Again poor customer service. We did this multiple times and multiple times we were told they couldn’t check it had been processed as a manager was needed to be present. After the 4th time my husband waited on hold for over 10 minutes until this was confirmed by the manager who also told him on Friday 16 August that we would have an email by the end of the day. Nothing. So we had to call again on Saturday morning to ask for this and have finally received an email. If I do not receive my deposit by next Friday (they assured me it would take 3-5 working days) I will be ringing the bank to open up a dispute and adding to this review. Not only is the whole customer service beyond poor & in breach of GDPR laws, they waste time and make it difficult to get a refundable deposit. Since then we have purchased a car from a different company who’s customer service is what you should expect when you’re spending tens of thousands of pounds of your hard earned money. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
