    Poor effort again by the van centre

    Poor effort again by the van centre. Rear door handle poorly repaired and was obvious that it had not been fitted properly as soon as I arrived. Had to wait for it to be repaired again despite the van being there for 3 days already.

    Excellent care and top notch customer service.

    The sales advisor Dmytro made the dealings very easy, swift responses to my questions and managed to offer me a very fair package to purchase my Toyota Corolla. After completing the sale I was given comprehensive instructions as to the workings of the car by another colleague Philip who showed how the car worked, he was very patient and informative. Overall a very positive experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Excellent experience with David Hudson (Stockport Audi). The process from start to finish was professional, friendly and overall a great experience. Communication was brilliant & overall a really pleasant guy who explained everything thoroughly. 10+/10

    Be careful what is covered in VW warranty

    The issue of the car was resolved. They asked me leave the car and called back to pick up. This part was unconvenient for me because I live quite distance from the garage. Instead, they should have scheduled and asked me to wait in the waiting area to save me coming home. Also, I had a VW warranty but this did not cover the issue which came as a surprise.

    Short staffed in service dept

    I dropped the car off using the quick check in and out service. Drop off went smoothly. I had planned to collect the car the following day to avoid busy later in the day traffic. Later on in the day I received the video showing me the service and suggested work which was 2 new tyres. I telephoned the service people to discuss the type of tyres they would install. The service people did not pick up so the call kept going back to reception who told me that they were short staffed. I decided to source the tyres myself and completed the online form and waited for the payment link. I later telephoned again and tried to get through to the service team as I’d not received the payment link. I, again could not get through but spoke with a lady on reception who said she would send the link. The next day the link had not arrived so I phoned and could not get through to service again so spoke with a lady from reception who said she would go over and let them know. I wanted to ensure that I wasn’t hanging around when I went to pick up my car as I have arthritis and cannot stand for long without pain. The link arrived and I made payment before setting off to collect. On arrival I entered my details on the system and it told me the vehicle was not ready. The lady on reception suggested I go over to service. There was one man seeing to another customer so I went back to reception but then back to service as I’d noticed that the other customer had left. I told the service man I’d come to collect my car and he said, “Yes, I’ll be with you in a minute”. I protested as I was by that point getting frustrated at the service. Another male came by so I asked him if he could help. He seemed junior to the other man who then gave him instructions to get the key to my car. Up until this occasion I had always been happy with the service at Stockport so we bring both of our cars to you for service & mot. I will be looking around for another service provider as the service I received was way below what I expect from Volkswagen. All the process should have been completed the day I dropped it off. It was only my choice to collect the next day. The service was not fit for purpose.

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

    Bought a 2018 Golf in October. Had a few small issues, knocking from suspension and brakes. Took my car in under the VW 2 year approved warranty and CRA 2015 for it to be repaired. Not fixed, car came back damaged. Mechanic drove it like he stole it with me on a test drive. Denied all damage until I showed a video I took when I got to the dealership 15 min prior. It since went back again, got more damage and told it was test driven and it’s a normal noise(metallic clunk from suspension). They’ve now said they won’t look again, the warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. VW are useless as support and this dealership is even worse, lies, lack of communication(even to VW Support) and a complete Joke. If there’s one thing I can say, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    Thank you for my new EQA

    Recent Porsche Experience- Portsmouth

    The initial visit was good. The test drive was good and informative and the deal process was easy and efficient. However, I was categorically promised the car would be delivered fully charged and it was not, I was told there would be replacement wheel caps provided to replace the tarnished ones and there were not- although a promise was made to send them to me. I was told the car had been cleaned and valeted and it looked no different on the day of delivery than it did during the test drive. There were grease marks on the screens and shiny surfaces which could have been wiped over, I believe the tyres could have been quickly dressed with shine wipes and I am very suspicious that the GardX which was included in the deal has actually been applied as there is no real way of telling. I was not provided warranty paperwork as a physical copy- my previous Porsche included this. The included charger also did not have a manual which would be helpful. I had to manually reset the Porsche Connect service and I would have thought that would have been done prior to delivery. The left hand side drivers tyre was overpressured which I found odd. The provided car manuals do not match which again seems strange. I felt generally rushed when I had previously said as I was working away that particular week of delivery that I was happy to wait until the following week but I assume due to the desire for commission to be due ASAP the situation was pushed to be the day after I returned very fatigued and worse for wear after travelling a long way (with pressure for payments being made while I was on a train and not comfortable doing large transactions on my credit card in public). I wanted to explore the possibility of an alternative vehicle as well at the last minute but that was clearly not something the centre wanted to help with which again I find a little short sighted given I was half tempted to go for a deal of almost double the price and could easily have been persuaded. All in all I got very frustrated with the whole experience by the end and felt like once my money was in the process of changing hands then all customer care went out the window and I was just an annoyance rather than a valued customer. Update: responded to Group 1 Automotive as requested in their response but have heard nothing back from them since. I suspect I won't hear anything so taking the complaint directly to Porsche Central Cust Services. Changed review to 1 star to reflect treatment from Porsche Centre Portsmouth to address the issue- essentially they have done nothing. Despite the car arriving with a lop sided number plate, not clean inside or out and requiring a brake diagnostic to be done by my local Porsche dealer to rectify the problem. Basically an enormous disappointment and thoroughly unpleasant experience. I would advise any potential customers to go elsewhere and not use this dealer.

    Group1 Norwich BMW dealership

    Group1 Norwich BMW dealership. I have recently spent time investigating options for my company car. Choice not only between cars but also options - salary sacrifice or personal allowance. I was very upfront with all dealerships visited but BMW win the award for not just lack of interest but rude dismissal. The guy I spoke with completely switched off - didn’t want to discuss the car options with me and I had to insist he take my card so that his colleague who “does that sort of thing” could contact me. Needless to say - no one ever got back to me. Several of my colleagues who are also looking at changing vehicles have had similar experiences with BMW dealerships. Attitude here a complete contrast to BYD, Mercedes, Kia and Ford who despite knowing I was leaning towards the SS option were polite, helpful and informative.

    AVOID GROUP1 LANDROVER CHESTER, SCAMMERS!

    I have an ongoing complaint with landrover customer services about being mistreated when my car come in to have recall jobs done in DECEMBER by the way. The ref no 0306074982. I was told i would be called over a week ago by manager KEVIN ROWLAND. When I called about it yet again the other day I was told they'd sent him 2 emails an noone was intouch as promised. This is going to far. This issue happened in Dec were now in may. After chasing my complaint I got a response yesterday 6 months later. Appalling customer service an the head of business LEE BURNS and is just as useless. I paid £400+ to have my car sorted. As they had my car in for 2 recalls an i had to get it picked up 2 weeks later. Apparently it's mapped which I didn't know an they said my car wouldn't start yet when we got there that was a lie. Ontop of an oil leak? Yet I had my MOT 2 weeks later an it didn't. To hand me a quote of £5k. They were vile to us. Threatening storage fees, an very rude. We told them to collect there hire car which they refused. Absolute jokes! Everyweek I've had to call these idiots! I want compensating for the jobs I had to do due to the incompetence of this company.

    Very poor experience

    Originally mis sold a car by the dealership and have not had any luck in getting it resolved. Left a review on 10 March and was asked to contact their customer care team via a response to my review. I have not received a response from them. Shockingly poor customer service.

    Mini Stansted - the dealer to go to!

    Great service from Charlotte and Callum at Group1 Mini, Stansted in Bishops Stortford. From initial enquiry to them searching for my perfect Mini they have been an absolute dream to deal with. Will be back when I am due to replace my car and recommend them to anyone else also looking! Finance on vehicle traded in also settled within a week. Now onto many years of happy driving in my Mini!
