I rarely took the time to make a proper meal. The times I did I spent too much money and wasted a lot of food. Admittedly I am not a talented cook. Green Chef recipes are great for me because they have clear and easy to follow directions. I don’t waste any food. The deliveries consistently come on time. There is a large variety of recipes to choose from. I am a vegetarian and my husband is not. We both have great choices when choosing meals. The recipes are for two people which means for us we make a meal (veg/meat) then we each have dinner for two days. Works great. All the packing material is recyclable. The only part that I’m not sure what to do with is the non-toxic gel inside the cold packs. I’ve been emptying it into a cardboard box then throwing it in the trash. If you’re looking for tasty meals without having to shop and plan your recipes, this is a fantastic option.

I like the organic produce, but there are too many non organic ingredients, including corn, which if isn't organic, it's gmo, so I never eat it.

Missing ingredients, but rotten salmon AND veggies led to a complete discarded meal. The “credit” was negligible.

I hate everything about my experience with green chef. EVERYTHING. 100% negative non vegan non gluten free garbage.

Salmon was not in the box. Received a credit.

We love everything about your products and service. It has introduced us to new seasoning and flavor blends. The meat and produce is so fresh. It is the first time I've used this kind of food plan and so do not have a comparison. But won't be shopping around because we like Green Chef.

We are on vacation and did not order and cannot eat Tilapia!!!

Overall a great service and product. The recipes are delicious and make life simpler when preparing delicious and nutritious meals. I would prefer the meals to have a bigger serving of veggies, but that is personal preference. I gave 4 starts instead of 5 because I regularly have received spoiled or missing ingredients. This typically happens at least once per box.

I love the green chef and I probably will sign up again. I just was getting too frequent and they’re replacing the pork menu with chicken and I really like pork.

Plan setting is Keto and GC suggested OWYN Protein drink so I purchased them. They were not the Keto version which I reported, but received no acknowledgement.

Typically the meals are ok but it seems that when I pick a meal through the app it doesn’t save. Last week I got 2 salmon meals. My person hates fish and I would have never picked salmon meals. I know I changed them to something we’d like. That’s happened a few times where the meals I get are a surprise.

It's the best meal service I've experience so far, and there's room for improvement. Photos of meals are misleading and often lack in adequate vegetable nutrition and require you to make your own side salad or purchase an additional one from the program--which I find incredibly frustrating given the price point. Non-organic substitutions are made regularly--without cost savings being forwarded to the consumer. I do love the fact that all the ingredients are bagged together so I don't have to spend 5 minutes looking for or gathering ingredients. I also like that the ingredient are pre-measured for the most part, another big time saver.

The food is fresh and easy to prepare. Never had a problem with delivery.

Love plant based meals. Calories abit high but liking flat breads and tacos. Fun using recipes to learn better cooking skills, use of legumes and great seasoning.

The website is very laggy and takes forever to load properly. Plus, I was missing ingredients. Also, the instructions often go against typical cooking techniques, and instruct you to use many more dishes than is needed for the meal.

Love the food. We have only had two dishes that my husband and I did not like from the last eight weeks of deliveries.

For 2 meals i had missing ingredients, and veggies were on the old side.

I switched to Green Chef a couple of months ago. Due to a recently diagnosed autoimmune disease, I was looking for a Mediterranean meal plan that was also gluten free. I had been on a multitude of plans from Blue Apron to Sun basket, Factor to Methodology, Hungryroot to Martha Stewart. I have to admit, I love the variety of options with Green Chef, the ease of prep (20 minutes or less) the taste of the food and how every ingredient is portioned to avoid waste. I am eating vegetables with every meal (I even acquired a taste for Kale) and for the first time in a long time, I am able to lose weight. In the last two months, there was only 1 meal we did not like. I usually switch to a different plan after 6 months due to getting bored with the same menu. I am hopeful it will be different this time.

Meals are just delicious!
