Terrible customer service. Can’t cancel my subscription. Regular price box way way overpriced. Food is OK.
While the food was delicious it was always thawed upon delivery. Do not utilize if you live in the South in the summer. Also, you cannot get meals for one. Not acceptable. And when you do cancel the person reads from a script. The chatbot doesn’t work and they do t acknowledge emails.
Of all the meal services that I’ve tried, green chef is my favorite as far as the quality of the food. It’s a fairly expensive, but occasionally I managed to have a friend sign up, which will give me a financial discount. One other thing about green chef is, it is helped me to enjoy cooking a little bit more. I am a pescatarian and I only eat fish once a week. Green chef, has many vegetarian options to go along with a fish of the week for me.
The meals are delicious and easy to prep. The only downside would be not being able to limit suggested meals according to food allergies. Each week I have to look at each meal and replace with a different meal that does not contain ingredients that my family is allergic to. Other providers give the option to limit the choices according to foods that need to be avoided making the process quicker
I have a tree nut allergy and try to view all ingredients but when I don’t select the meals you continue to send me meals with nuts. This last week, cashews. It is disappointing.
I ordered meals but didn’t read the site enough to realize that I would have to cook the meals. I intended on ordering meals that were already prepped so I was a bit disappointed that I had to cook the meals. I already cook/meal prep so ordering these types of meals defeated the purpose. Cooking is what I was trying to avoid! That being said, since I already had it delivered I of course utilized the meals. They were DELISH!!! Didn’t save on prep time but it was worth the 30 minutes to put them together. I did cancel my plan because cooking isn’t wasn’t what I want but the meals did taste great!!! If you’re looking for tasty quick meals to cook…you’re in the right place!

The company is very misleading.Where do I even begin. I paid for an organic meal plan and half of the time I would get a note stating we're out of organic but here's a non organic item. No credit or anything. Missing recipes constantly. Veggies look all decrepit and nasty. A couple of times had lemons that was rotten. Missing ingredients. Avoid these scam artists like the plague. A complete waste of money

I enjoyed Green Chef when I first began using their food service but I have become very tired of it. The better options always have an upcharge. The meals that are included in the base price are typically vegan, turkey, pork or chicken bowls. Every recipe is 2 servings, which would be great if I didn't live alone. The leftovers (2nd serving) never are as good as the day it is prepared. My set delivery day is Thursdays. I had planned a trip to the beach on the Friday following the latest scheduled delivery, which I had planned to take with me. It never arrived before I left town. Therefore my box of fresh food was delivered more than 24 hours later than expected only to sit there and rot. What a waste!
I ask that I net receive pork and was ssent pork. Tw boxes was missing seasonings
Found a live spider in the bag of broccoli I opened for my meal. Customer service was very poor…. Getting in touch with someone is very difficult. When I finally did I got a $6 credit toward future meal…. In other words nothing was done! They said unless I was poisoned it was really not worth contacting me.
This has changed my life! First, less trips to the store therefore less impulse buys and wasting money and food. The packaging is perfect. The tastes are different than my usual and I love them. Prep is fun, clean up is easy. It has honestly made the 4:00 “what’s for dinner” a thing of the past! Thank you!

It was very difficult to figure out how to cancel my subscription. I found instructions in the FAQs but they were wildly inaccurate.
Very helpful service. Price is reasonable. The quality of the food, seasonings provided, and taste was fresh. Helped me with my health, weight loss journey. Had to cancel only due to my budget.
Exceptional food. Mediterranean meals are the highlight of the week.
