Most of the dishes are delicious and easy to prepare.

Been ordering from Green Chef for the past month, 4 total deliveries. Out of the 4, each time there was a chopped chicken recipe the chicken came spoiled. There only response was to refund me for the meal with no additional discounts for future boxes or anything else to make it right even after 3x. They do not care about keeping their customers. 3x in a row is a no for me.

Accurate ingredients in the shipment; clearly presented preparation instructions; most meals take 30 minutes or less to prepare.

I enjoy the taste of organic meat. The meals are like restaurant meals. I enjoy being able to eat healthy.

The recipes have been great. However the only issue I have had is with the green peppers. When they are pre-cut in half, they are slimy. The last order that contained whole peppers, the peppers were already starting to rot and were soft and mushy. I had to throw them out. Green chef responded right away and refunded some of the cost of the meals. I really appreciate that. I hope that quality control will be more involved in vegetable selection and meal packing, making sure everything is fresh.

High quality food and tasty recipes. If you can afford it, then definitely order!

This company is a scam. I used them once before and told myself to never do it again but, of course, forgot why, and decided to give them another try. In 4/5 delivered boxes, most of the produce was rotten. I complained twice about not being able to make meals because I had to through the veggies or potatoes away. They gave me a credit for the first dispute, then told me they would give me a credit for the next dispute-completely removing the whole credit from the first issue and creating a new credit amount…which was not at all enough to cover both meals I lost out on. They told me my credit would be applied to my next box and when it wasn’t and I disputed it, they said the credit won’t apply until all discounted boxes are used. There is nothing in writing on their website indicating this is the case. Thor website says “credits will be auto applied to next shipment”. I talked to a bot to dispute this and then a “live agent” that has a script and will say the same thing over and over. Nothing is resolved. It’s like talking to a brick wall. Customer service is as poor as their food quality. Why would I want to continue buying boxes with you when your food is rotten. The only reason I decided to buy another box was to use my credit. I am now disputing this with my credit card. Save your money and go with another company. I love Home Chef. They are amazing with product quality and customer service. I have been a loyal customer for 9 years and I have never encountered another meal delivery kit service that would be close to comparison. Not sure why I keep trying to branch out. They try to get you with their “free boxes”…scam.

Great tasting food! Easy recipe to follow in under 30 minutes, you have a delicious home cooked meal that is superior to restuarant quality and taste!

We have enjoyed the meals we've received - they arrive on time, easy to follow directions, products are nourishing, and delicious.

The recipe selection has grown tremendously!

We really like the food - only complaint is lately the organic vegetables have not been very fresh - specifically the green beans and zucchini. The recipes and taste of the food are excellent!

Great food but I would like more sodium smart options.

We love the multi flavoring of the dishes. 20-30 minutes of cooking to get the quality meal flies by. I did receive and was charged for an item I did not request. I even called way ahead of delivery because it would not allow me to remove it, there was no choice to remove it from the order. I was assured the item was not on the delivery and yet it arrived. It is something I would have never chosen but I tried it and ended up throwing it away.

Overall the food kits were fresh however at times the veggies would be less than desirable. My biggest complaint has been with skipping meals as we travel often. Several times for whatever reason the meals were not cancelled so I just had to de activate to assure I wouldn’t get meals I didn’t order…I would rather have an option to order as I go instead of a schedule.

We love all the meals!

We’re loving our Green Chef! The meals are quick and easy for our long days and the flavors are great! The only issue we’ve had is that there have been 2 boxes that had a missing ingredient. Luckily we had the missing ingredient at home for one and made a tasty substitution for the other.
