I guess my experience was okay with this company, because everything went usually, unless support team, they do not really like when phone rings.

I have been very pleased as to the upfront notices and the actual decrease in my electrical rate since my first experience in having Sunwave as my electricity supplier. Very impressed with their professionalism and their honest approach to keeping the cost of electricity in CT at a more reasonable rate as opposed to UI.
Would like to see pricing a bit more competitive, but the Customer Service reps and Customer Service Manager are both excellent, personable and extremely helpful!

When I considered signing up with Sunwave again, one factor was its price-competitive one-year plan. The other factor was Sunwave's decision to allow present customers to switch contracts within its system. I had heard many complaints about Sunwave customers' being locked into plans that, in retrospect, proved to be costly, but that is a relatively unfair criticism: Everyone was caught unawares when the price of oil suddenly went through the floor last year. Nonetheless, many people switched back to Eversource as their supplier. Flexibility and fairness are key to Sunwave's doing well in CT. I would also add that the public needs to do some homework: They don't seem to realize that suppliers are really energy brokers, not generators. I also think that all suppliers should divest themselves of the coal option.
They are very good with communication. Received notification of renewal by mail and email. Website is easy to use. Very happy!

I am very confused on the switching date of service with the new contract. The wording in the website says starting date will be the first date after the next meter reading date. The followed up letter on the contract says this will be few working days after the contract has been approved. I called can get a similar answer from your customer service. And he said he can do nothing to help on his end. Why can you not start the switching at the end of my current contract so that I will not face an early termination fee?
Easy to sign up and great fixed rates.
I signed up for service with Sunwave, and it was supposed to have started by now, but didn't. The reason: Sunwave says its computer system is not compatible with Eversource (NSTAR) -- the largest utility in Massachusetts. How come they didn't know this (if it is even true) BEFORE they solicited Eversource customers to sign up? Totally amateur and screwed-up.
