My box was supposed to arrive Monday before Xmas, it never showed. They said they'd squeeze me in on Tuesday (Xmas eve). So I didn't go shopping for.fresh stuff for Xmas day. 7pm comes around and no box, and they're not contactable. So I had no fresh food Xmas day as it was too late to hit the shops. I got a response to my email on boxing day telling me 'not to worry because they can squeeze me in on Thursday'. Completely dismissive what a huge mistake this had been and absolutely no acknowledgement or offer to make up for the stress they'd cause me (I work in customer service and I'd absolutely offer this box for free given I'd been a customer for quite a long time, but they don't seem Interested in customer retention). This is the second time my delivery didn't show. As of now, 5 days after my delivery was due, I'm still awaiting my refund. I won't be using them again, obviously.

I have loved using Funky Food for fruit and vegetable delivery. It is good value for money, the produce is fresh and gets delivered to my door. Any time that I have had questions, the team get back to me really quickly! Shout out to Celine who has helped me many, many times! She is positive, understanding and has all the answers! I also like knowing what will be in the box early in the week so I can plan out my meals.

I have a family of four, I ordered my box of fruit and veg ten days ago. It says order for filled however it has not been recieved and no one is responsive to my emails so my family has no fruit or veg it’s so disappointing!!!

Funky Food has been a game changer!! I love that I can pick what goes in my box and that everything is so fresh. Can’t believe all the produce I received would have been thrown out. Also so convenient as I literally got it delivered to my front door. Overall great experience!

I absolutely love my Funky Food box. I get it every week and have customized my order to exactly what I need. It's so convenient, so fresh, and it's just such a great concept. I think their approach to fighting food waste and supporting farmers is just amazing! I highly recommend to anyone thinking of starting their subscription.

Received my first order today, was very excited to see what was in the box, sadly disappointed. The majority of the vegetables are nearly off, appear to only have a day or two left to be used, I paid $39.90, plus postage, I didn’t feel the box was worth that especially when you’re apparently saving money. I actually copied the produce into the Woolworths shopping app and for the same items it would have cost me nearly $14 less with Woolworths. Love the idea of this, however feel it really wasn’t worth the money, and most of the produce wasn’t fresh.

I didn't order , because of poor quality vegetables. More suitable for pig farmers. They unauthorised did order themselves and withdraw money from my bank account. Today delivery is just a joke with missing eggs again. Scammers with criminal activity. Also ignore my messages and e-mails. I don't have any other option how contact Consumer Affairs.

We have used funky food for about six to eight deliveries. Of those, we had two instances of rotten food. The most recent contaminated the entire box with rotten lettuce juice and we lost several items that were growing by the time it arrived. We spent an hour washing the remaining products. It is a great concept but with a quarter of our orders contaminated with rotten food, it is safer for us to buy from the local store.

Please please PLEASE fire whoever designed the new website, it is so stripped down and impossible to get the amazing useful information that was on the old website. It's practically useless now. I hope they go back to the old website and fire the design team ASAP, they've destroyed their customer experience.

Very lucky to have been home and seen the text when I did as the box was left outside my front sliding gate on the pathway for anyone to take. I have NEVER EVER had a delivery dumped outside my front gate. Apparently it was too hard to slide open the gate and take it to the front door. I was really excited to see what all the hype was about and support the farmers for the food I was getting delivered. However, it's unfortunate, it was nothing different I would get from the shops. In fact, if not the same value, I can actually pay less in the right places. Sadly, disappointed! 😔

The food was amazing! Unfortunately, we live out of state, so it can't be our local spot, but we always make sure to come here when we're in town. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is great!

We have had getting boxes for a month. It is great quality and a variety of food. It really suits us because I love cooking and find I am now planning and looking up new recipes based on my box. Planning based on veggie means I am planning meat as a secondary thought so I think we are finding it much cheaper. There is also so many veggies we are making do and being creative with food. Mushroom pasta rather than take away on a Friday night. I like the fact it’s seasonal so getting lots of avo and tomato so making pasta sauce and lots of lovely avo on toast. It’s great I can add eggs and other necessary items. We are definitely feeling less pressured to shop and reducing stress, time and effort weekly because it just turns up. For our family it is really taking the pressure off and quality is outstanding. We get do much for $40 veggie box (I pay extra from some specifics as I need)… over the weeks we have had all the basics plus corn, beetroot, kale, lots of garlic and ginger, chillli, broccoli, Colli, zucchini, mushrooms, sprouts…

Received our first box today. Priced up what we got and it would be around $80 at Cole's. I paid $58.00 next box with postage is closer to $70. For the sake of $10 I think I'd rather choose what I get from the supermarket. With 5 children, 3 apples, 2 mandarins, 5 oranges it just doesn't work for their lunches. They'll all get differing items and that's a big issue for our kids. The produce itself though is good quality, just odd numbers that don't work for us. Few items we don't use and wouldn't normally buy so all in all I think id rather purchase what we need and will use, in numbers and amounts that work for us. It's not worth the $10 I'm "saving" il actually spend more having to buy the extra that's needed then somehow figure out how to use the items we don't eat anyway.

Disappointed. I ordered the 'small' box. Composed mostly of onions, carrot and potatoes. This would've cost maximum $10 at a supermarket, less at a local market. I paid over $30. Yet again capitalism ruins a good concept buy fuelling greedy companies

Best customer service! We have been receiving funky food boxes for about a year. The fruit and veg are fresh and of a good variety. With two little kids in the house it's just one less thing to worry about. And you can't get the same amount and quality at Coles or woolies. We have a weekly subscription and I was initially worried about what happens when we go away for a trip. It's so easy to cancel the box for that week in the client portal. There's been a few times where I forgot to cancel, recently with just a day notice. I sent an email to customer service. They are always so quick to respond and issue a refund right away.

I recently started purchasing from FunkyFood, and I am thrilled with the experience! Their concept of selling 'ugly' but perfectly good fruits at economical prices is fantastic. The quality of the produce is excellent, and I love that I'm helping reduce food waste. I have been ordering on and off for year now, I always order the large box for $70. The quality and quantity has been diminishing with each order. If they had kept up the quality of the first couple of boxes I would continue to order from them, unfortunately, the produce is mainly root veggies, corn, a lettuce and a pumpkin. The fruit is usually oranges, apples, banana & maybe a melon (cheaper produce) there are a bit of this and a bit of that... never really enough of anything to cook something substantial. In a cost of living crisis... I feel that they could be a little more generous like they used to be.

Just received my first "lite" box in regional NSW. All very fresh - better than supermarkets & even a good local independent greengrocer. Obviously not as good as local growers, but they don't have everything I want. Forgot to put on scales but a good quantity. Some a little under-ripe & a couple of apples with dents. Not sure I'll save money. Good customer service so far. Prepared to continue. (Second box the following fortnight also good. Just not sure what I'll do with a green pineapple in May.)

Food was amazing! Unfortunately living interstate means this place cannot become our local but we always come here when we are in town. Very friendly staff and great atmosphere.
