The guys here have a great business concept doing good things for growers, of course there is an occasional error one in a while like anything but it’s how they respond to them that has made us so loyal. Nothing has ever been a fuss!

Delivery was on time wide variety of fruit and veg all fresh and delicious and a bag of grapes was pinnacle will definitely order again

We ordered within their timelines as specified on their website. The first week we were charged for a $50 box which never arrived. I email them multiple and still have not received any reply. We gave them the benifits of the doubt that we would get a refund for that week and wanted to try the service still. The following week a box showed up and while I cannot fault them for quality of the produce but the value was not there in any way shape or form. Their advertised savings are definitely not there. The contents of the box was disappointing to say the least. A good percentage of the food was fruit and not much vegetable. The makeup of the food in the box also left a scratching our heads. We received an enormous head of lettuce and a decent sized watermelon that took up most of the weight. Also the actual combination of food meant that whatever delivery we received we were going to need to back it up with a shop to the supermarket in order to make use of the combination of food we were given. In addition to the oversized items we also had a handful of beans that would barely feed a male adult and eight mushroom and three tomatoes that were very small. I don't care about small produce but there should be quantities that would help make up for the small size. I have continued to follow up with them but have still not received a single reply to be refunded for the initial week that we never received. Great great idea but executed extremely poorly. We'll be going back to the local fruit and veg shop from this point forward. Just an update, they actually have refunded the initial miss delivery and apologized for taking so long to process.

I really love the concept of Funk Food. I think it’s a wonderful initiative but they’ve missed the mark with every order so far, keep delivering to the wrong house and this week, have just taken the piss with our order. To their credit, when notified of problems, they’ve immediately refunded missing or incorrect items but when it happens this regularly, I’m afraid I need to find a more reliable option.

First time ordering from Funky Food, and I’m very impressed! The fruits and vegetables were super fresh, and the team even checked in to make sure everything was perfect. Great service—I’ll definitely order again!

My first box arrived this week and I was really happy with the variety (lots of veggies that you can easily use in salads or meals without waste!) and the quality was great. Biggest lettuce I’ve ever seen 😂 I’m looking forward to seeing what comes in my next box based off this first experience and the customer service has been excellent too!

I first found out about Funky after seeing a write-up in my newsfeed. What a fantastic concept! In the fight against waste, this is frontline work. Ordered my first box, and the produce was beautiful. I swear I have bought so close to same quality in supermarkets, I had to purposely look to find any faults. There was NOTHING I would not be happy to pay for. AND it was discounted from supermarket prices, AND it was delivered to my door, AND I will simply put the sturdy cardboard box it came in, back out for the delivery driver to retrieve next week. MORE recycling. Back up support service was fast & friendly for my queries. Emails are sent in advance if an ordered item cannot be supplied. As a household of only 1 or 2 people, I cannot order enough to get free delivery, but for a family it would be no trouble at all. We all should be supporting this initiative. GO FUNKY!!

They communicated well and were very helpful. The fruit and vegetables were good quality and lasted well. I have changed over to this delivery service because they minimise packaging and pick up the used boxes. The packaging ends up being a real nuisance with other services. This company has been the best one I have tried.
