Frank Mobile Review – Disappointed by Product Quality and Customer Service

I recently ordered what I believed was an iPhone 15 Pro from Frank Mobile, only to discover upon arrival that it was actually an iPhone 15. After reviewing my order, I realised that the error was on my part, which I was willing to acknowledge. However, I was also surprised to find that the phone—advertised as being in “Prime” condition—arrived with a fairly deep scratch on one corner of the frame and a smaller one on the other. It certainly did not match the description of a high-grade, near-new device. I contacted Frank Mobile to explain both the mistake in my order and the condition of the phone, hoping for a more flexible or understanding response—particularly given the circumstances. Instead, I was told I could return the phone but would be charged a $30 restocking fee, with no acknowledgment of the condition issue or offer to exchange for the correct model. While the refund was processed within a reasonable timeframe, it was minus the $30 fee. In the end, I’m left unsure of the overall quality of Frank Mobile’s “Prime” phones, and found the customer service to be rigid, transactional, and lacking in genuine support or care. This experience has left me hesitant to purchase from Frank Mobile again or recommend them to others.

Dodgy Store Never buy from them

These are the dodgiest sellers. I bought phones from them. They issued a fake invoice . They were not registered for gst but they still charged me gst. I found out at they airport when they told me that they had similar issues with this seller before

I needed a new phone urgent

I needed a new phone urgent, they got it to me from Melbourne to Gold Coast in just over 24 hrs!! I could not be happier l! I chose prime condition and the phone is basically brand new! My new fav moblie shop is frank.

A1 service, A1 products

So happy with my recent purchase of the Google Pixel 8 Pro! The phone was said to be in great condition, so I was expecting a few slight scratches visible to the naked eye here and there, but it literally looks brand new. I’d also purchased another phone from Frank Mobile a week earlier before realising that it did not meet my needs. Frank Mobile honoured their return policy and I received store credit for when I no doubt return for an updated phone in the future. Thank you Frank Mobile!

Ordered the iPhone 14 Pro Max good…

Ordered the iPhone 14 Pro Max good condition. Not only was the delivery super fast, but the phone came almost prestine. Minor scratches that can’t really be noticed. Absolute great company to be buying your refurbished phones from!

Brought the galaxy s 9 for about 220$ from franks mobile a week later had to spend 160$ on a new battery and charging port ,could of Brought a phone for 400$ with no problems. Shopping around next time

Disappointing experience

I am super disappointed with my experience so far with Frank Mobile! I ordered an iPhone 11 that arrived promptly but with a battery that needed servicing and a battery health life of 77%. I asked to return for a replacement which Frank agreed to (apparently there is an 80% minimum guarantee). Unfortunately, they didn't have the same item in stock, so they added $30 credit to my account and asked me to pick something new. I chose and paid for an iPhone 12 Pro with express shipping on Wednesday, 10 April. Nearly a week later, I am still waiting on them dispatching the item to Australia Post. I have emailed and called but keep receiving excuses such as 'we are investigating internally' or 'it is awaiting collection from Australia Post'. Sometimes the number rings out and goes to a very dodgy sounding voicemail. I am, at this point, $750 out of pocket, waiting for a phone that never seems to arrive. Looking at other reviews of similar experience, I wish I had thought twice before using Frank Mobile for a refurbished phone.

SLACK & DISSAPOINTED, SCAM

I have recently purchased a phone through Frank, and was stoked that it had express shipping. I got my tracking number Thursday 14/03 and later looked that express shipping is classified as 1-3 business days. I checked the tracking on the Friday, Monday and Tuesday and it still hasn't left the warehouse, I have lodged a complaint with AusPost, however they can also not help as it is not even with them. It has now been 4 business days (and a whole weekend) and no movement on the delivery. I have contacted Frank mobile, and they keep resending me my tracking number and link, with no progress, or update. Still haven't had any progress or update on where the item is. UPDATE- phone has arrived but not after 5 phone calls after not receiving the phone for a week, they had claimed the phone had been sent and the shipping just hadn’t been updated. I then demanded that they stay on the phone until the issue was fixed and promptly after this they then proceeded to say that they actually did not have the item I purchased in stock after reassuring me that it had been sent ( so in fact nothing had been sent for over a week, I’m not sure why this wasn’t just stated when the purchase was made?) They then said they would send out the next best one which was a different colour but it did have more storage, and then was received in a timely matter after the issue was fixed. However it could have been fixed the day the item was purchased instead of 8 days after purchase

No phone

I haven't received my phone yet and the website advertises itself as express shipping in 1 to 2 days to CBD locations if you order before 12:30pm which I did. I wish I looked at the recent reviews of this company as I would of avoided it at all costs and honestly just gone straight to JB HI FI to buy. When you try and call it doesn't even go to hold, it goes to a voicemail which is very strange for a company 1800 number. I also had to ask for my shipping tracker number...and they gave it to me and it's 'pending' which I understand could be from bulk items scanned at the counter but due to the circumstances and reading all the reviews I feel as though they've just generated a tracking number without actually sending it. I wouldn't buy from these people again and I would recommend it. Go elsewhere. Seems like you have to complain to get what you bought? Severely understaffed is my guess. I will update once I receive the phone.
