The team were fantastic, they were on time and did a great job. We are happy with our new doors and we hope to be using First home improvements in the future for some windows.

Absolutely amazing windows and New front door. The front door is fabulous (keep going outside just to marvel at it). The installers were very polite and considerate also exceptionally tidy and cleaned up everything as they worked. Thank you Darren Thomson and Finleigh White. Our house is very warm and the heating is not on, so quiet too.

First Home Improvements, I was very happy with Phyllis , explaining everything to me and Adam Banda her manager was very agreeable. When the door was fitted upstairs, the fitters put covering on the stairs and then cleared up afterwards. The window in the kitchen was put in, I am very pleased because the previous one was too high. Now I can open it easily. Both of the fitters were very professional and skilled and I would be very happy to have them again to fit the new sliding door. The company kept in touch, especially Steve the installation manager, gave me a phone number, in case I needed it.

David & Richard were excellent when fitting our new front door. They arrived on time, were very polite and friendly, had the new door in place in no time and tidied up leaving the work area spotless. David explained the online automated payment method clearly and how to lock and unlock the door iteself. They were great representatives of First Door Home Improvements and I highly recommend the company as the whole process of buying, choosing our options and the installation of new door was easy and painless. What's more it is a massive improvement to what we had before (dark oak and draughty) and a great looking product. Well done to all involved.

Jade Downs the service engineer came out to fix a problem I had with my door, he called me beforehand to tell me when he should arrive. Arrived on time and was quick and efficient with the work. Diagnosed the issue straight away. He was ver kind and respectful when here. Thank you

The workmen were punctual, courteous and friendly and they worked effectively and expeditiously, making very little mess and clearing away what they did make. They carefully followed our instructions regarding the wires for our alarm. The final result looks splendid. We could not be more pleased.

Contacted company for quote for windows and door. As the house we are updating is a rented property we had to be very mindful not to disturb the tenants too much. Tom turned up on time and was very accommodating when we informed him we couldn't do his presentation in the house but had to go to a nearby café. Tom explained everything concisely and thoroughly and was polite and respectful throughout the whole process. Although he was out of his comfort zone doing his pitch in a public café , he did an excellent job. Now we look forward to having our new windows and door installed.

In the sales pitch we felt like we were being pushed to make a decision now. The time keeping of the salesmen and post installation inspection was awful. The inspection still hasn't happened. The door is good, very secure and attractive, but the ongoing hassle and stress has not been worth it. It's a pity because the first installation they did for us was amazing, great service, punctual and very laid back.

Really professional team, communication throughout was great. The guys on our job had a harder time with our windows than expected but it was no bother, they just got on with it! Finished product is amazing, so happy with the quality, cannot thank the team enough!

I have my back windows and a door fitted .. Subcontracters were lovely , but the quality of the windows was soo poor ....The configuration was not what I wanted and there was a window missing.. 2 weeks after fitting top bedroom window blew back and broke.. When I called them they said it was my fault due to high winds..which was rubbish ..They didn't send anyone out to assess or repair it and were really rude shutting me down.. The back door only locks from the outside?? .. Please avoid this company at all cost.. there is no come back when things go wrong. THEY ARE CROOKS.

I gave a 5 starts review recently to this company as the service they provided for our windows was extremely good. Sadly soon after Caroline called me, saying that they needed marketing pictures after installation. I believed that was the reason but apparently what we said yes to is to have a lovely skilled non stop talking salesman stuck in our house for 2.5 hours on a wednesday evening, to a point we had to politely invite him to leave. He tried to sell us two doors for over 6k and even though we weren't interested he over stayed while we even started cooking dinner. Pretty unbelievable and extremely rude if I'm honest. I am not upset at a company trying to sell something in rough times but there should be red lines as being honest and not lieing to the clients to get into their houses. People are not stupid and coming in the dark to "take" pictures ( he didn't even bother to take some of them) shouldn't be allowed. Paula

I'm so delighted with my new front and back doors that I find myself stepping outside the house much more than usual just to take a look at them. I was aware of the reduction in draughts around my feet almost straightaway. Mike arrived early and worked with hardly a break while I kept him supplied with numerous cups of tea. He has done a wonderful job and the front door in particular has already attracted a great deal of admiration. It looks lovely - the best in the road! Amazing team put ony window. Made no mess. Very friendly. Didn't like the huge advert board they put in my front garden but said they had to. I was told by the guy we ordered the window from, I could put one in the window as it was only one small window. Apart from that, brilliant all the way.

Customer Service were straight on solving the issue. Good communication. Jade Downs the Service Engineer, has a friendly manner, is polite and was good & efficient with the job at hand.
