I signed up for hosting only Since beginning i have audited my accounts and found hundreds of pounds taken for services i did not ask for When questioned about it they said someone will call me back and set a cancellation date Before the cancellation date i set a migration of my site to Hostinger They have now blocked access to my control panel so i cannot retrieve dns or change settings on my domain names Frustrated i have emailed them repeatedly and the send me the same scriot. Notthing we can do During this period they took another 20£ from my payapal account They are thieves and scum please move away from them as they will take what they want. From you and the moment you question it They will block you from moving away from them Be aware of them you have been warned

I have historical 'beef' with Fasthosts, going back decades, but my experience with them this year has been good, perhaps even great! A client of mine decided to use Fasthosts for hosting and email services so I've been forced to have dealings with them again. Today I had to cancel a second hosting account that had been opened in error months ago. I was expecting a fight, and a refusal, but it all turned out fine. The support person I spoke to (Louie Gee) was really helpful and they agreed to cancel the account with no penalty (presumably there's some annual lock in thing). I'm happy, and the client will be happy.
