Excellent work, great finish.
Excellent work, and always a good finish. Thanks.
EYG Home Improvements receives consistently positive reviews. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

Excellent work, and always a good finish. Thanks.
There is no question that this is very very expensive replacement roof. We decided to go ahead as the salesman was not at all pushy, by far the best salesman we had seen. Communication was good and they kept to the promised date to fit. The fitters did a good job regarding the fitting but they were very messy and put there tools straight onto the window boards. Not good!! There was an issue with a roof sheet and this was replaced without fuss. If there are any warrantee issues in the future I hope they deal with them in the same way. So far I'm happy with EYG it would have been 5 stars except for the mess.
Very happy with the finished product. I had a couple of very large balcony doors that needed replacing. Each door required four guys to lift it and down two flights of stairs. Fortunately the new EYG doors were fitted in situ - frames then glass. The job was done quickly and efficiently and the finished product looks very good; with the added bonus that they provide much better insulation that than the previous doors. Would definitely recommend EYG Home improvements.
Pleased with finished result as before, this is our third time using EYG. A few small delays along way to completion though.
7 weeks sat with incomplete work... Overall a frustrating and disappointing experience that ruined the excitement of having an extension...Sales guy great, although timeframes weren't what we were told re planning etc but given the pandemic pretty acceptable... Groundsmen great, offered advice on change of design that would benefit the property and worked round a couple of mistakes the surveyor made. Fitter's great too, went up in a timely manner. However one unit got broken and sill too short-not an issues as plasterer was to fit sill and broken unit to be repaired...informed by "Martin" that unit would be replaced on a certain day, half a days annual leave taken to be at home and no one arrived! Plasterer-Simon, really unreliable...commissioned him to plaster an extra wall (as surveyor neglected to inform us that there would be exposed electric cables) went AWOL. Made numerous calls to the head office, passed from pillar to post, Rude lady in Newark office/depot really unhelpful. No one responded to calls/emails sent to them. Room sat untouched and unfinished for almost 7 weeks with no body from EYG taking any ownership or interest, eventually spoke to a Martin who advised he would chase....again nothing heard. Eventually got a call from some director after posting a comment on social media who advised the outstanding work would be completed immediately...another further 10 days before anyone arrived! The work carried out was of an acceptable standard...what let the experience down was the length of the time the room was left unfinished and the poor customer care/attitude. When spending a considerable amount of money one would expect a much better standard of service, The company certainly need to invest in some training for their customer service staff re communication and interpersonal skills. Not apology received from them! To add insult to injury...chasing payment that had already been made in full!! Sadly for these reasons I would be hesitant to recommend EYG to others, my friends or family.
I even had difficulty in fixing a date for fitting a new loft window. They eventually arranged for 6 October, but then decided they needed scaffolding to install the window. Scaffolding was erected (at no cost to me), and they told me they would replace the window this afternoon (22 Oct); they actually arrived this morning just as I was about to go out. The window should have been hinged on LH (as ordered), but was hinged from RH side. I will never use EYG again or recommend them to anyone.
Thank you to Paul and Andy who have done a fantastic job of fitting our new windows. Both were very professional. They worked really hard, and we are very pleased with the end result. Would highly recommend them.
The installation went very smoothly and all problems were rectified to our satisfaction.
We have had our conservatory for approx 20 years; installation was by EYG and we have been extremely pleased with it. The UPVC has withstood the test of time with no discolouration whatsoever. We recently decided to have the roof replaced with a hybrid version and, therefore, had no hesitation in using EYG to do this. Again we are pleased with the final result, although we were disappointed that the pitch of the new roof does not follow the line of the original. Whilst this is a slight irritation, the matter has been resolved to our satisfaction and we would like to thank EYG for another job well done.
This is our second purchase from EYG. The installers have all been very polite and courteous. The communication from the office has been spot on. Currently very Happy with the last purchase.
Wonderful job by Connor and Stuart, couldn't fault the work and finish. Would certainly recommend EYG to anyone. Thank you.
I initially gave EYG 1 star rating due to poor workmanship on some guttering she had put up. It was shocking and poorly done, however since EYG have been aware the service is second to none, Julie has gone above and beyond to rectify the issue, I couldn't ask for more. I also have discovered they cover North Yorkshire so I too would use them in future.
Arrived 5 hours late with no courtesy call. Poor quality windows. Fitters tried to leave me with saw marks in the sills. Had to get them back to fit air vents. Suppose you get what you pay for.
The new french windows have been excellent so far (as expected) and seem robust enough to last another 20 or so years. The installation was efficient and the installers courteous,
This is the second time we have used EYG for french doors. They are very reliable , turn up on time , professional and deliver exactly what we ask for. We would definitely recommend this company.
Excellent service and communication from start to finish.
Quality of product is good and the fitters were first class and deserve 5 stars alone but the communication was rubbish and lucky I was in when fitters arrived because I had not been told they were coming on that day. Don’t know if I would use again as I like to be kept informed of what is happening
EYG fitting my hybrid roof was a stress free experience. The two gentlemen who fitted the roof were very professional, explaining what they were going to do. On the second day they arrived at my home early to allow them to make the roof completely weather proof before the rain forecast for the day started. Once the job was completed they removed all rubbish and left the place tidy. Cheers to them both. Sorry I can’t remember their names. Garry.
The installation of my hybrid conservatory roof could not have gone smoother. The installers were very professional, friendly and considerate. They got on with the job. The electrician came and did his bit which was fine. The plasters just got on with their job. When they left everything was cleared and left tidy. Not once did anyone ask to borrow something. Overall I was impressed with the whole operation and would have no hesitation in recommending EYG. I have used EYG on a couple of occasions before and their products and installation have always been of a high standard.
Although we had to wait and change the specification slightly, it was well worth the wait for our new front and back doors. The team who installed them were professional and had a lovely sense of humour.
