I decided to replace my old Perspex conservatory roof with a Hybrid roof and chose EYG for the job as they are a reputable company. Kevin & Alan completed the job within three days to my entire satisfaction. They carried out the job in a skilled and very efficient manner. Together they make an excellent team. They cleaned the entire workplace on completion of the job, leaving it like it was before the job started, which I really appreciated. The building's wooden facia and soffit had seen better days and was replaced with UPVC by Billy & Craig who carried out an excellent job to my satisfaction. The job was done at the same time as the conservatory roof job. Overall, I am more than just pleased with the jobs carried out and it's good to know that EYG has a 10 year guarantee and I can contact them should I have any problems in the future. All four workers were very friendly, accommodating and efficient. It was a pleasure having a social distant banter with them as they carried out the work. I.Correa

Very friendly and professional. Everything happened when it was supposed to, and all the tradesmen were good at their jobs. Only one little wrinkle at the end which was sorted out with a couple of phone calls. We certainly would use EYG again.

Price by two different sales representatives from eyg gave me a £400 difference in price for the same job anew or existing customers sould be treated the same. After your 14 day cooling off period is up thay will hold you to your contract if there is an issue and threaten you with court action.dont ask for a refund if thay amended your contract 3 stars well am being geniuses as in the end that finally sorted it out ish

We recently had a conservatory conversion done by EYG. Jon and John did a brilliant job doing the majority of the work with other workers helping out on a couple of occasions. They were informative and reliable throughout the process and completed the job to a high standard. Any issues along the way were quickly resolved to our satisfaction. Thanks lads we enjoyed your company as well.

Awful service. They sold me some windows and a door. The windows didn’t fit properly. I had to get an external workman to come and move all of the hinges into the correct places. The door arrived with a panel and a piece of glass that were the wrong size. They accepted the error and re-ordered them. They arrived wrong again! They sent a technician to measure up. He re-ordered them again and that order took another month! Didn’t actually receive the order until harsh words were exchanged and I demanded my money back. All in all the order took 2 1/2 months when I’d been promised a quick turn around. Barely any apology! Crap service would NOT use again!

EYG built my new conservatory: solid foundation, with insulation in the floor, levelled and skimmed, glass walls on 3 sides, solid roof with insulation and skylight, electricity, sliding patio doors. From the beginning, the various workmen were on time, courteous, efficient. Craftsmanship on the glass walls, roof, and floor is excellent. I'm delighted with the result and would recommend EYG to anyone looking for an extension, conservatory, orangerie.

Can’t fault the job or the workers, arrived on time and didn’t stop till they finished. No dinner or tea breaks for them, would recommend Andy and Paul to anyone a credit to EYG.

Work standard is excellent. Cannot fault it but there were many delays in the run up to the installation, possibly due to the current corona virus chaos, better communication about dates could have improved the experience.

I would like to thank Paul and Andy for their honest approach to fitting our windows or should I say not fitting our windows. They pointed out that the Windows n needed lintels fitting,and that it should have been highlighted by the surveyor. They could have attempted to fit the Windows but pointed out that doing so could bring the brickwork down or cause bowing of the frames which has happened to another window . They did this knowing that they weren't getting paid for the job . Thank you for your professionalism.

The whole process was friendly and efficient. Covid caused problems for all, but EYG staff were considerate at all times. Product is really good. Installation team was polite, friendly and quick whilst doing a very good job.

I have no issues with the ordering process, subsequent communication or workmanship. But, there were issues with the installation owing to incorrect information being recorded by the surveyor which meant one of the windows had to be fitted in a different position to that intended. This looks slightly odd. I have used EYG on several occasions and this is the first time there has been a problem.

Fitters were very good, friendly and efficient. Would have been much quicker if they hadn’t been given an incorrect piece but it was replaced and job done in good time everything considered.

We needed to replace our front door and large arched surround but we were concerned that this could be done properly in modern materials in order to keep the same style and character. The team at EYG were helpful and reassuring throughout and the finished result is brilliant, both inside and out. It looks excellent and no more draughts. We had to wait a few months for it to be fitted because of the problems arising around lockdown but it was worth the wait. The fitters spent a morning installing it and did a very professional job with a nice sense of humour and absolutely no mess. The new surround is thinner than the old wooden one and I thought it might look unsightly inside where it joins the wall but the finish is so we’ll done that it looks better than before. I would have no hesitation in using EYG again or in recommending them.

We had three windows replaced October 2020. The work was due to take place on the 17th of October however no one showed up and only after we called EYG at midday did we find out the workmen were not coming that day. When they did finally come to sort the work it was a total shambles. Turns out the surveyor who came to measure the windows did not make kmow (and we didn't know ourselves as we recently moved in) that the windows were box units with integrated sills. So when the men came to do the work they had to remove the whole window unit which removed the plaster around the windows. It was only after they had removed the windows that they told us of this problem when someone from management came round (without our knowledge and consent came into our house in a pandemic), but by that point we had 2 holes in the front of our house and had to continue with the work. The job should have been one day that turned into three days. After the first day the workmen didn't tidy up after themselves and our backyard, front yard and public footpath were covered in glass that we spent 2 hours sweeping up after. The workmen didn't bring sufficient number of sheets to cover our carpet and actually took one of ours. They got super glue on our curtains which were under a sheet on our bed away from the windows. They got plaster everywhere including hallway walls and staircase and the plaster work wasn't even flush with the wall, and sealant on our walls and skirting boards which we have not been able to remove. They didn't even seal the sills under the windows leaving a gaping hole! After we complained to EYG it took a few weeks before any workmen could come to 'fix' the problems, also the surveyor and men that carried out the job apparently didn't work for EYG anymore. Admittedly they were really nice and could see it was a botched job. We had to totally repaint our bedroom wall, hallway and skirting boards but sealant marks remain. We got very little compensation for this. Luckily the windows themselves are good, but it was an awful experience.
