Just had salesperson round for a quote. 1st words to me 'we don't do hard sell'. Bear that in mind.... Quoted me one amount then gave me the old story that there's a discount they can give me (hard sell?). And then gave me 2-3 minutes to decide on that discounted price (hard sell?). Advised i will think about and get back if agreed but the discounted offer was to be time limited for 1 day only (hard sell?). Puts me right off buying from this company if that is how they do business. Got a far cheaper quote anyway as it happens elsewhere.
ordered my door on the 9 th November 2020 and the sales rep told me this would be fitted in late January , late January came and we had no word from EYG to say when installation would be. After contacting them they said installation would be on 23 rd March due to Brexit and covid , sometime in late February we got a call from EYG to say they had come to see us late last year and quoted us on a door and would we like to order one , we were quite surprised as we believed we had already ordered one and paid a deposit quite odd really , on 18 th March I phoned up to ask if they were still coming on the 23rd and they said yes we are on the morning your all booked in , then on 22nd March they called to say our door wasn't on the delivery and they could not fit the door on the 23rd as planned and could not give a time it would be fitted , after saying this wasn't acceptable my husband told them that they needed to get it fitted before 11 th April as we would be very busy at work so couldn't be at home after this date. We were told we couldn't cancel our order and someone else had already tried to cancel their order and had taken EYG to court to try to get their money back but unfortunately they didn't win the case , the man from EYG seemed quite pleased and was using this as an off put to other people who might think about cancelling their orders and was advising people they had no chance of canceling and getting deposit back Then 2 days after 23rd we got a call from EYG asking if we were satisfied with the work they had carried out when in fact they hadn't done any work at all , we got a call last week to say they would be coming today to fit the door on the afternoon , when my husband called yesterday to comfirm the time they then said oh it will be morning we come , thankfully they did come this morning , and the door is now fitted but unfortunately after arriving and not even starting the work we were given our invoice to pay which I found rather rude as I have never known a firm to issue and invoice before the work has been done and the other thing is have now learnt is my door was delivered on the 19th march after all because it's got a sticker on the spine with all my details on and it clearly says delivery date 19th March so I can say I am not very impressed with my experience , I have now settled my invoice , after speaking to my husband about replacing our windows we have agreed they do need to be replaced but we will not be using Eyg as is seems they have no organisation and they do not speak to the customer to keep them informed on what is happening, definitely a company to stay clear of
Great service. From start to finish they gave excellent service the initial consultation was without all the fancy talk and suitcase full of samples . Just good advice and no I’ll ring my office for a better deal . The installation team were friendly and efficient and the end result very good . Would I recommend this company yes , much better than the other two we asked for quotes from .

Installation booked in at the beginning of the year for end of March. 2 days before had a call to say they couldn’t make it but after I explained I had other workman booked in they said they could do it on the Thursday. Installation engineers turned up and when fitting back door they drilled through a central heating pipe flooding my new kitchen floor. Managed to turned the radiators off but it then took a further 6 days to get the central heating system back up and running. The back door would not shut properly and I had to lean against it just to shut & lock it. The service engineer who called the following day after my complaint looked at the door and the mess that had been made with the pipe & walls etc and said in his own words “ the jobs an abortion”. He the had the refit the frame correctly so the door would shut properly. They then had to organize a plasterer to come out to sort out the extensive damaged they had done to the walls. The engineers that came out to remedy the problems but the installation engineers would not even rate 1 star.
Paul and Andy fitted my new windows. They were very professional, finished the windows off really well and left everything tidy. They arrived on time and were very polite. Would recommend.

Installation done very well. The two workmen were polite and kept my hallway totally clean whilst they installed my new front door. Finally they cleaned and polished everything - a very good job. I had waited a fairly long time from order to install. However this was outside the control of the company and they did keep me informed.
Fascias and guttering replaced. Fitters did a good job. Very pleased.
The work was carried ou from start to finish in a most professional way, we were very pleased indeed. I would have no hesitation in recommending EYG to anyone.
Great selection and prices are inline with competitors. The fitters where great and very tidy. Only downside was the communication, I had to ring and ask about my order to find out it was delayed and check if the new installation date was still happening. Dave in the office was great but I should of been told about the issues before I rang. More proactive communication wouldn’t go a miss.
Jon & John were professional, knowledgeable, & provided us with great communication so we knew what stage things were at and what to expect the following day. All together a very smooth process thanks to them. Communication from the office could have been better as far as knowing what day & time the electrician was due for 2nd fix. Correct email details were provided but appears the wrong email address used. As customers we did not receive the required itinerary.
It would have been 5 stars but the wrong glass was installed and it took ages for the correct glass to be fitted
After having a sales consultant out to view my requests regarding a conservatory replacement / up grade and with him guessing how much a warm roof could be, guessing how much a conservatory replacement would be I asked for a written quote to be sent to me and was advised this would not be an issue I then contacted the company to see how long a written quote would take to be advised that they do NOT do written quotes and when the sales consultant attended he would have told you how much it would be I explained that guessing what it may cost is NOT a quote and to have something in writing it covers both me and them of my requirements and if any changes or amendments need to be made So far there is a £6k difference in the guesstament just on the roof And to have the sales consultant NOT calling you back to explain why what he said was different to what the office said If you want genuine quotes in writing or email do NOT use this company so many negative reviews If you are happy for a Guesstament then this is the company for you Reply to EYG With regards to your reply maybe your sales consultants who attend the property should say at time that we can not give accurate quotes until our building surveyor has attended...... and your office staff who made it very clear they that no written quotes are given Your sales consultant never mentioned anything about not being able to give written quotes until a building surveyor had attended But for the interest of all parties maybe your building surveyor should attend at the initial meet as there is no point wasting time visiting and re visiting the property Based on my experience alone I find customer service very poor, knowledge of sales consultant poor and office staff awareness poor and if I didn't have to give you 1 star I wouldn't And to guesstimate the roof alone at £6k over the other quotes is disgusting and then to say we'll if you add another £5k or £6k then that may cover the cost of the conservatory is again not how I do business
I must admit. I was a little disappointed that either man didn’t take off their shoes,as these days most people have carpets, and my carpet in bedroom was a new one. One of windows didn’t fit but that was not fitters mistake.

Bad experience from start to finish. Quality of some of the work was very poor. The sub contractors you use need to be researched better as I could have done better myself. And as for after sales care, you try to get anyone on a phone. All you get is an automated voice telling you theres nobody available. Had to have them back twice as dry verge keeps falling off. Would highly NOT recomend to anyone
Once again service was excellent, there was some discussion over the finish which was resolved immediately. Having moved home this is the second time your company has been used in two year’s and I am aware that a colleague has recently purchased on my recommendation. Will definitely use again
