Bought this filter at Home Depot in Las Vegas. Next to impossible to find a plumber in town to connect it to my garage soft water loop. So it sits! Update: I managed to find (1) plumbing company to come out and give me an estimate on installing my filter. This would be an easy install with the filter sitting appx. 1.5’ below my soft water loop. At that location the filter would filter water through the whole house except the kitchen sink! Well that Sucks! Anyway, for that hookup the installer wanted $685!!! I only paid $545 for the filter. I strongly told the plumber, “no thank you”! I’m considering hooking the filter up myself using Sharkbite fittings. Much easier. This water filter has turned into a nightmare! And Home Depot where I bought it has been no help!
