Had a video call arranged with them that I cancelled an appointment for. I received two texts and two emails reminding ME of the appointment, then THEY never turned up for the appointment. How can you trust someone with the sale of your house when they can't show up for an appointment they arranged. They text saying they can re-arrange for Monday and I have given my availability but like the other reviews in the same situation, I don't think ill get another response.
Our house had been on the market for 9 months with local agents before we decided to try a different approach with Express Estate Agents. It was our best ever experience of an estate agent. They kept in contact with us at every step of the way with us never having to chase them up. From first contact with Chantelle, then James L keeping us informed of buyers reactions and ultimately closing the sale, then Carmine following through once we had a sale, The team were really on it. Massively impressed. Would recommend.
Was in touch with Lucy with regards to property for sale and she has been excellent in follow up and arranging the necessary bits. Like mortgage advisor, property viewing, conveyancing solicitors etc.
Charlie Stafford has been a massive help! I’m a first time buyer proceeding on my own and while the offer process was a bit nerve racking for me Charlie made me feel comfortable throughout it. He’s been very proactive from booking in my viewing to putting my offer forward. He explained exactly what I needed in order to proceed with the sale and now I’m left with my mind at ease. Fantastic service! I’m a very happy customer.

I was never available for the viewings as i don't live anywhere close to the property but express estate agency made it all possible with the help of a key safe box outside the property and a fantastic presence of potential buyers and Robert always in touch and providing updates.

An expensive estate agency, who don’t do much more than market the property. All viewings will need to be done yourself which, given the fee charged, is not great. Despite the absolute confidence they state in getting a quick sale, you’ll still be tied into a long contract term. We also ended up having to reduce significantly to achieve a sale, which went against their initial confidence in getting a quick sale.

The communication via ea.whereby.com was not brilliant. Charlotte talks quite quickly and, with the addition of a "bubbling" sound that occurs with some audio links, it was difficult to follow what she was saying. Ultimately we gave up and resorted o a telephone connection that was a lot clearer. We agreed that the "30 day" approach was the most suitable for my requirements and I asked Charlotte to send me all the details. I had expected those to arrive by email but,so far, nothing has come. I was somewhat taken aback by a commission rate of 1.5%. This was over twice as high as the 0.7% that had been offered by local estate agents. I await the documentation before I make any commitments. ____________ One week later: still no further information!
