I am frustrated with this level of service and waiting period from EWT. The engineer visited and he don’t fix anything and after that the salt is bridging all the time. EWT salt is being used and still the same. Did hot water, used stick but the salt stays solid. And the waiting time is 45 days? The whole purpose of water softnerer has been lost.
The water system is great. This is money well spent, the drinking water is very soft and clean. When you take a shower, my skin is not dry like it used to be and my hair is very soft. I recommend everyone to wear EWT Water.
We have had a terrible customer service experience this year with EWT. This is in stark contrast to previous years so it would seem their focus is no longer on their loyal customers. We had 3 scheduled services cancelled at short notice, were assured they would be rescheduled but we had to chase up ourselves to reschedule. We spent a couple of hours over and back sorting out the payment ( no fault of ours) to then be told on the day of the eventual service being carried out that there was no record of our payment. The service guy was very rude, as was the customer service agent on the phone when we rang to explain. As it transpired, it was EWTs mistake. We weren't even offered an apology. I emailed a complaint which has also fallen on deaf ears. I would not recommend whatsoever.
This company does not deserve even 1 star. Our appointment was cancelled 10 minutes before the scheduled time which wasted my day off. No call/messages after that for 10 days until I chased them today. Now they are saying engineer won't be able to come until 10th January 2024 as they are all off enjoying Xmas while us customer suffering. We have 2 special need kids with skin Conditions and they are going to suffer as we have no salt left. Rubbish company, Rubbish service and getting too expensive year by year. Our honest advice- Do not use this company or buy anything unless you want to suffer like we do.
I've been a loyal customer of EWT Water for a solid ten years. This company, which I once held in high regard for its efficient installers and exceptional customer service, has taken a nosedive in quality. The decline in service this year is not just disappointing, it's unacceptable. Trying to book a timely service has become a futile endeavor, met with nothing but delayed responses and unfulfilled promises. And if that wasn't bad enough, their customer service has deteriorated to a point of being outright rude and utterly unhelpful. It's a stark contrast to the once commendable standards they upheld.
Got a Dual softener installed over a year ago, persuaded to go for this by the sales people because its more salt efficient. No complaints during first year, 25kg bags of salt lasting 3 month spells. However then I did their recommended yearly check, since this check was done im struggling to get a bag of salt to last one month. Another engineer looked into it later and still no change. I could have just not bothered with the yearly check saved money both doing this check and on salt. Dont know what to do if the standard of their engineers has gone down in a year, my only hope is to get the guy who installed it. Tip for everyone is to try and take a record of your settings, these guys need watching
Andrew took my call, noted my concerns with great patience. He said he'll pass on the details to the engineer and call me back with an update. I wasn't expecting a call back, but was sweetly surprised when Andrew called and provided an update. Amazing customer service
Water softener doesn't do the job. I tried getting hold off CS team to address the issue and had to constantly chase to get an answer. Their ops process of booking a service is like working with windows 95, very old. You have to wait 4 working days to get an appointment and if the planning team book a date and it's not the suitable for you, and if you think rebooking is straight forward a simple call..... Naah, they don't have the power to rebook. You will be put in queue like you just contacted them for the first time. Yes, back to the beginning!! Other issues: Technology fail: EWT App returns an error and gives the option to arrange a call back. However, no one calls!! YAY!! CS team: not upto the mark. I explained the problem to Steph (CS advisor) and constant fail of everything I do and unable to get a booking, I get a mechanical answer that she is unable to do anything. This is the protocol. I asked to speak to a manager. She won't transfer and I have to email. Apparently thats the protocol. I even told her in the first place that I needed a booking on a specific day as I have a job and can't do all days but they decided to do exactly what I don't want. And no concern whatsoever. And she is unable to do much. Protocols!! I have to go back to the queue. And guess what, me trying to get answers, she hang up on me saying I'm rude.
Had a great service today regarding the move of water softener due to house move, Andrew really helped to sort the bit of late request, was very understanding of the situation.
No idea why this company has gone from being first class to absolute rubbish over the past few years. Annual service appointments are a joke. Multiple texts are sent to book service appointments, these are then ignored. Appointments are booked weeks in advance and then cancelled hours before the engineer is due to arrive. I cetainly would not recommend this company as a reliable supplier for water softening.
Very helpful delivery driver, stacked my 8 packets of salt in my garage. He even moved items that were in the way to stack efficiently.
Awful service Serviced 3 weeks ago. Not worked since. I have been with this company for 10 years Took 3 weeks to get another appointment. Due today did not turn up. Spoke on phone to them. Someone should have phoned me to tell me this appointment has been cancelled and reschedule for another 2 weeks. I don't know what has happened to this company but I advise anyone to think about the after service before using them. I have cancelled my service contract!!

Having previously been let down on 4 occasions by EWT another service was promised for 17th between 8am and 9:30 am as per their text message. At 11:40 am still no sign of engineer arrived was informed they don't start until 9:00 am but she would note it and try contact engineer and get back to me..... 2 hrs later still no feedback so rang again but no joy with the outcome was told it was a management matter and somebody would contact me in a "few minutes" to use their words....an hour later still no feedback and another day wasted waiting around .....appears customers are not a priority to them very disrespectful and unprofessional......save yourself the hassle book with a different company....
I had made a mistake of ordering Freshmax for washing machine. About 10 days later got an appointment which I couldn't attend, so I requested another date and they confirm by email and tax that their engineer would be there between 9AM and 12.30PM. I took half day to make sure I am at home, but when no one turned up until 12.30, I called to see why? I was told that they called me night before and because I didn't answer the call they cancelled the appointment but didn't bother telling me that they have cancelled it!! This had happened in past when engineer was supposed to come between 2-6 PM and then 6.30 when I called, was told due to heavy traffic engineer didn't come, but didn't bother telling me that he wasn't coming. I would not recommend to anyone. STAY AWAY
Absolutely horrible experience!!! Stay away from them!!! We re-done our house where we replaced all the plumbing for new PVC pipes. We also installed the most expensive model from EWT. After 13months, the drinking water tap showed signs of external rust. Contacted customer service to replace the tap and they claim that the rust is coming from my old pipes (even tho i told them they are new and made from PVC). They refuse to replace the tap and simply don't care!! So rude - horrible customer service!!!! What am I suppose to do with my rusty drinking water tap?! Save yourself the hassle and stay away!!!

Worst experience with this company. We had salt leaking through all the pipes, and when asked for help, they wanted me to pay twice for the same issue. Unfortunately I had to, to get the system uninstalled. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful staff and engineers. I would never choose EWT Technologies ever again, nor would I recommend anyone to go with this company considering the experience I've had.
We had a water softener with EWT for years now..and we had a service with them two weeks ago and it was a disaster. First service left filter tap leaking and when we tried to contact them it took many hours per day over 4 days of calling to actually get to speak to someone..then they sent someone after a week out to repair their initial blunder. They came back today and put a new filter tap in and after leaving it now leaking too. He left his number and is now non responsive. Whilst the care has always been slow to respond this is new level bad service.. AVOID if considering them. Galway customer. Moving to other after wasted money..
