I have been a customer of ewt for 10yrs plus and find that since and during COVID the service is appalling. The EWT app is terrible and the price of servicing ridiculous and no deals on salt which seems to have increased in price across the board. I asked them to reset my time- €95 callout fee, I said please tell how to do it and they said an engineer would do it😀. Moral of the story stay away!!
EWT is the worst company when it comes to water softener.. it’s been over one month that I have been waiting for appointment to service my water softener and on top of that I don’t under why the serving has to be expensive.. no engineer … the first installation was a nightmare because my washing machine stop working afterwards .. to be honest this company should not be in exsisting is clear they can’t provide the service they are advertising
Sorry but Booking a service to EWT apps is a hit and miss what ever there service engr availbility is very limit (may be short of staff?). Dont bother ringing,they dont book via phone they only past you to their service team wc take 4 to 5 days before recieving txt/email and if dose't suits you'll be re sheduling over and over again.
Stay away from EWT. Customer service is non existent. No engineer turned up on appointment day. After that I have been calling daily & everyday they say manager will get back & no call back. Three weeks on no call back from manager or new appointment. Stay away from this company. I raised a formal complaint over the phone & no acknowledgement or followup from customer services.
Ewt engineer fixed the installation fault after 2 years.. funny thing starts now..he said fixed the issue but water starts leaking after 7 days..He put installation taps to water pipe..I stop the main water and called to Ewt ..they said it will take 24 hours to assign the engineer but they don't know how many days it will take to availability of engineer.. they very rude when you call and even disconnected the phone call.. I suggest not to go with Ewt...
It is next to impossible speak to anyone in customer service, and when you do it doesn’t even solve the problem. I have had many issues with this company, I am currently trying to solve one and it is so frustrating dealing with customer service

EWT Guys Provided the Excellent Service. Engineer is Very friendly and resolved our issue very quickly.
Worst customer service ever. First when the installation guy came to install the EWT equipment, he was so rude that didn't answer any questions we had. And then when I did the salt order for pack of 10, I was charged the full amount same day. But I never got to hear from them for about a month, then after a month, they deliver one bag and suggested that remaining bags will be delivered later on. After 2 weeks they deliver 3 bags and suggested that remaining bags will be delivered later on. It's been nearly 2 months and never get the bags delivered even though amount for 10 bags was charged at the time of making order. So money is gone, product is not fully delivered, when call customer care, they have only one answer that it's not in stock, then why are you taking the order if you don't have much stock? Worst customer experience ever with EWT.
Do not use this company. They incorrectly installed my water softener 2 years and 8 months ago resulting in salt feeding into my water supply for that length of time. I called and asked for it to be serviced a few weeks ago and it wasnt dealt with. Only a fantastic engineer that came out 2 days ago took out the shelves under the sink and realised it was installed incorrectly. I have had huge salt in our drinking water for this length of time and my son who is 25 has massive blood pressure now and I need to get his kidneys checked. My daugther also had elevated levels in her blood tests. I rang to speak to EWT but no manager takes calls. I was told to email in for the attention of the Management Team and have now sent 2 emails and no one has replied to me. I feel my childrens health have been compromised - and the worst part is I paid for this!

Such bad experience with this company I was booked for water installation at my unty’s place which was booked for end of may then without cancellation I was then booked for 15 th of June when engineer arrived he informed us that he doesn’t have water tank so needs to reschedule us after few days of wait we called them again for date of installation they told us that they will install on 28 of June we were waiting for them to come and no one appeared today when I called them they said I was now booked for 13th of July soo disappointed would never recommend anyone
THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH! VINCENT ADVISED SOMEONE WILL COME TO FIX THE ISSUE WITH MACHINE AS IT IS MAKING SEVERE NOISE A BRAND NEW MACHINE! GUESS WHAT NO ONE CAME AS USUAL. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE SINCE MY LAST REVEW ON HERE. I HAVE NOW WAITED FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS. THIS IS THE WORSE COMPANY!! PUT THROUGH TO THE RECEPTION AND THE GUY HAS TAKEN 10 MINS TO PUT ME THROUGH TO VINCENT I AM STILL ON HOLD! THIS IS A JOKE!
Terrible experience waiting for water salt. I've ordered 8 bags of salt and it took 45 days to get delivered. Surprisingly, I noticed that the bags of salt have been reduced from 25kg to 15kg... for the same price ? or maybe 1€ less ? 🤔 that's terrible, it might be the inflation, right ? Poor customer service as mentioned by other customers.
I have been a customer of this company’s Irish market for years and at the beginning when they were a small company, they were very easy to deal with but now that they’ve branched out into the European market their customer service has taken a nose dive. The app which they insist on you using is not user friendly - if you have an issue/complaint you cannot get through to anyone in accounts - I believed I had been over charged and they refused to ring me, their emails opened Hi and signed off EWT. Only that the reply was so rude I would have thought that it was an ibot response. I am currently looking around for a new water filter provider - The only positive is their technicians on the ground are polite and professional
The technician who visited my house for EWT installation Vladimir was great and not only installed the product swiftly but also helped me with a tri-flow tap which I wanted but could not order. Very professional and qualified individual.
Appalling customer service, the app doesn't function correctly. 2 of the system services I paid nearly £350 for, ended in disaster. The first created an issue where I had constant water expelled into my waste for a period of time leading to me having a £500 water bill. The most recent one after having no water in the hot weather an engineers response time was days leading to me getting a plumber to action myself. I regret going to them no sense of loyalty to customers would no longer recommend.
