I have been in the letting market since April 2007, which seems like a very long time ago. In that time I have never lost any money from non paying tenants. In the last one year I have had two houses being let out by Equity. Equity letting teams are hard working, tenacious and dogged, however the same cannot be said about the finance department. I had to serve section 21A notice on my tenant and in essence I could lose thousands of money by the time the tenant actually leaves the house. The tenant is already many months behind in the rent and Equity did not have the foresight to see about future predicaments. Now the shenanigan will continue for another six months and this debacle will financially cripple me.

I could not be happier with the service I received from Equity. I used Equity twice over the past 8 years for buying a property and for selling it. Both times they were amazing to deal with. Matthew was very professional and friendly, he did the property valuation, placed the property the market and found the buyer after a single viewing!!! Helen, my point of contact, was very professional, helpful, friendly and absolutely amazing from start to finish. I was involved in a very complicated chain as I was selling and buying, but Helen made this process as easy as possible. She was always prompt in responding. I asked her a million and one questions throughout and she patiently answered to every single of them. Thank you for all your assistance Helen! x Equity has provided a great advice and support as well as introduced me to a fantastic solicitor. I would highly recommend Equity to all thinking of buying, selling or renting.

We have recently completed on a purchase of a property through Equity and from the initial property enquiry to completion we can not fault their service. Our first contact was with the lovely Aaliyah who dealt with booking in the viewing of the house we wanted to buy and then the offer being put forward to the vendor. Equity’s policy is they will only put an offer forward once buyers can produce I.D, proof of mortgage and that they also have proof of deposit. This obviously eliminates any time wasters. As you can imagine this is quite a nerve wracking stage to see if your offer has been accepted and Aaliyah was a true professional and was in contact with us whenever she had the smallest update and would always call us back when she said she would. Once our offer was accepted we were kept in the loop at all times during the conveyancing process by Darren at Equity. Due to our solicitors weak communication and at times being very difficult! If it wasn’t for Darren’s intervention and updates from the vendors solicitors side we would probably still be waiting for a completion date or even worse the vendor would’ve placed the property back on the market. We have another property that we hope to rent out and find the right tenants for so we will definitely be in touch with Equity again to see if their lettings department can help us. Thank you again Equity for helping us purchase our dream home!

Great experience with Equity and Darren in particular. We all know that buying or selling a property is a stressful process but not with Equity. Darren was amazing from the beginning until the end. Very professional and although we had some problems with our solicitors,he was chasing them and updating us on every step of the way.
