énergie Fitness Reviews

What makes this gym so special is the instructors, they are wonderful, kind and supportive, just super awesome people! The classes are always nice and small, no more than 8 people, and they don't get fully booked immediately (like some other gyms nearby, mentioning no names!). There are loads of different classes available all day, every day. The room the classes are held in is spacious and clean, and I'll sometimes get lucky and it'll just be me in a class, getting private sessions, which, for just 40 euros a month, is incredible! I've been a member for a year now and it's been such a great investment. I can't recommend this gym highly enough! :)

The Bethnal Green énergie Fitness branch has been closed since late September 2025 and has not reopened. The landlord has put up a notice to highlight the lease for the site has has been forfeited, yet énergie continues to claim the club “will reopen soon” and still lists it online as open and taking new members. There’s no way to cancel — the Terms & Conditions say to contact the local club, which is non-operational, and head office doesn’t respond to emails. Other members are reporting the same issue. My requests for cancellation has been completely ignored for weeks, no doubt a flagrant attempt to tie members in for more payments with their 30 day notice in their Terms and Conditions. My Emails have also been ignored by the same email address shared in responses by the brand themselves to other posts here. It’s unacceptable to keep collecting payments for a gym that no longer exists or to ignore cancellation requests. On top of this, their Comms have addressed members by incorrect names, highlighting a GDPR breach I have reported to the Competition and Market authority for investigation.

I enjoyed my experience at Energie Fitness having been a member for 2 years. However, the Bethnal Green branch announced they were closing for refurbishment for 2 weeks about a month ago, and never reopened (now "permanently closed" on Google and a sign on the door says the landlord has reclaimed the premises). I've tried contacting both the club and head office multiple times to cancel with no response, and I'm continuing to be charged full price for a non operational club. Meanwhile they continue to send vague and misleading comms about reopening and accept new memberships to the branch on their website. Blocking members from cancelling is no way to run a business. Avoid.

Would give them - stars if available. I closed my account and received confirmation email from Clint Power Fitness Manager in April 2024. In October 2025 I get an email from their debt collection team stating that I owe them money. The running of the gym is absolutely disgraceful they have no idea about customer service and how to treat people. This is not an isolated incident it’s happened to several others.

Another former member now being threatened with court action for a membership cancelled over 2 years ago. No contact from the gym, disreputable debt collection agency being used. Very poor

Great Gym, left for a little while but found myself missing the atmosphere & people, classes are great, doing PT’S with Pelè enjoying it so much even though he works me & Jan hard!! He is an amazing trainer would HIGHLY recommend him, if your looking to progress in your fitness journey he is the man, he is very knowledgeable, kind & helpful but he will push you to do better sometimes I need that, thank you Pelè x

I attended the Bootcamp & Brunch with Sydney and it was fab! 🥰 Everyone was so welcoming, and I had such a good time. Can’t wait for the next one! Xx

The Bethnal Green Energie Fitness closed without telling any of its members, under the guise of a 2 week refurbishment. There is no way of getting your membership cancelled as the only way you can is to contact the gym directly. There is no overarching Energie Office that will take ownership of it, including the refunds for the members who have been charged for a gym they can’t use, some of which have are on annual memeberships. This seems to be a pattern with Energie and you can find other cases of this happening online. It would seems the staff are instructed to do this from what I am hearing. I’d avoid and look for another option if I was you.

Great gym- very nice staff, all equipment available to you all the time with intense classes to choose from as well. Absolutely loving it and recommending to anyone:)

So I've just heard today that manager Ravi Rawji is no longer at this gym. First of all, it is about time and that's why I give this gym 2 stars and not 1 star. Whoever is in charge finally opened their eyes and decided to get rid of a toxic manager. Whilst this is definitely positive, there is no hiding the fact that he was allowed to manager for over a year. That has got to be the worst decision of all time from this gym. To allow Ravi to manipulate and disrespect so many people like he did for that long id disgusting. At the end of the day that goes down to whoever hired him. It leaves a real bad taste and I'm not sure if the gym will ever be able to fully recover from that poor decision. It's a real stain on what was once a really nice community based gym. As a former member I feel betrayed that such an evil man was allowed to run our gym. Good he is gone but I will definitely not forgive Ravi and forget the bad treatment given.

Sydney held a Bootcamp and Brunch on a Sunday morning in the gym. Sydney made the class so fun and ensure it was accessible to all fitness abilities! I will 100% be booking on to the next one!

Best gym in the Area

i found my experience very enjoyable and Sydney was very helpful showing me around the gym.

Evie is a great PT, thanks for always helping!

Great gym! Great staff, thanks to Evie for always helping!

I have been working out there for almost a year. It is a great gym, staff members are experts on different physical disciplines, always eager to help or improve your technique. Recently they add new equipment to made life of callisthenics fans a dream, so I can not be more happy about it. Full support for them. Definitely deserved.
